With our pass we get 20% off merchandise at Disneyland and 15% at restaurants, our pamphlet said up to but we always got those percentages. For food they usually only do the discount at places you can a full meal, so no discount at the carts like Maurice's Treats or Ice Cream vendors. What type of pass do you have? We have the Premier, so perhaps that is different for discounts.

We have the deluxe, and pretty much the only place we didn't get 10% was in Carsland, other than at Flo's. They gave it to us pretty much everywhere, though.

The older videos used to be more entertaining. I still have a few around. I think it was the 2005 or 2006 one that had Dave the bench guy. He was really funny. They should bring him back.

Probably we'll just get her something while we're out there and both contribute to the cost. My parents went to her grandparents' 50th anniversary party. No one knew what to get them. They have just about everything.

Updates:

1. Leaving tomorrow.
2. Doctor says I should be ok, gave me exercises, new foot thingies, stretched and straightened my spine and recommended some pain medicine.
3. Bags and everything almost done, just need to add the minimal stuff and I will transfer my email accounts AND browser stuff to my laptop.
4. In the bad side... I found that the hotel I was booked, was sold to another company and had HORRIBLE reservations in the past 3 months (thanks to decay and renovations).
5. I really hope the hotel is now like it is in the official photos of the new company. Also that my booking is still valid. Sent them an email but who knows how long they will answer.

I was thinking about watching Jungle Book since I picked that up today on Blue Ray, but I decided against it. I read a case study for school, took a bath, and I think I'm just going to relax in bed for while and go to sleep early. I have to be up at 7 to leave for work at 8.

We actually went madman, because the phones we were given were not working. Thanks god they finally answered the phone at the hotel (was busy for hours) and they told us our reservation was fine.

The huge amount part is the one that would bother me as well. I was told the other day that I was one of only a few people that could watch them put a needle in when taking blood. That seems strange, those things never really hurt that much unless someone does it wrong so why not watch. I've been able to tell them a number of times when the vain rolled and they missed it completely. So I guess I'm not all that squeamish about it.

Good morning, @figmentfan 423. How is the catching up going. I hate coming back home with all the work involved.

Very much why I took advantage of the laundry rooms by the quiet pools the night before we came home after we left the parks. We'd swim, hot tub and I'd do laundry and sip a cold drink. With so many washers available in an hour or so I could knock off 2 weeks of laundry and come home without that chore.

Upon our return I'd go fetch the dogs from camp a three hour journey round trip. They'd be fluffed and cleaned too. Meanwhile the misc stuff would be put away by the family along with suitcases of clean laundry. Doing laundry around a pool with an adult beverage wasn't bad, not bad at all.
