I love seeing people's pets. I don't have a dog currently. But, I had lots of doggies over the years. They make life fun.

My grandson had a german shepherd name Susie. However, she's in doggy heaven now. I have always feared dogs, since my aunt's mutt terrorized me as a child. He always growled at me, and many times would have chewed me up, if she didn't have him tied up.
Our dog's always lived in the house with hubby and me. When he traveled, he would put a dog treat in his suitcase, the dogs were excited to see him, but mainly to get treats!:D

That sounds like a great evening! Especially when you mentioned Rhapsody in Blue, I love Gershwin so that would have been right up my alley. I remember when we watched the late 80's-90's versions of Illuminations and Rhapsody in Blue came on to highlight the American pavilion, it was so exciting to me and gave me goosebumps. I was just a kid, but I was a strange one and enjoyed listening the classical and jazz music (still do).
I learned to play Rhapsody in Blue on the piano. It took me three month's to be able to play it well, the music teacher broke it up in sections, and I wasn't allowed to move on. It is a beautiful piece of music.
