I work in a similar system as you. Since I got 2 screens I cant work with 1 lol.
And most mallwares/trojans/viruses wont tell you anything or show anything. Its obvious they are trying to infect you silently to spread.
Anyway as my prior answer. My antivirus detected it as a Scrinjet trojan variant.

Thanks! :)
I got no virus, or otherwise, warning.
Everything worked perfect the rest of the day.
We'll see what happens when I go to log back in tomorrow morning...

Better get a decent antivurs, I always trust ESET NOD32.
It has protected me so many times. As a IT, I sometimes have to go deep in the bad places of the "internets". And those really require your browser to be beefed up in security (with antivirus, blockers..etc..)

That's probably why I had no issues...our IT guy at the office, like you, knows his stuff really well. :)

Thank you so much. My guys decided they'd rather eat there instead of T Rex. I have to say I'm rather happy about that one less place to worry about being at on time:) Not to mention an ADR would cut into my shopping time.

Yep, if I had the choice between T-Rex and Morimoto's on our next trip, it would definitely be Morimoto's. Although we thoroughly enjoy T-Rex, we've already eaten there 3 times, sooo... ;)

Agree.

By the way.. if you're in your office.. and if your IT is very competent. I wouldnt be surprised if they had a centralized antivirus hardware system (usually next to a "firewall") that automatically filters the data incoming from the internet to all the corporate/office network.
So they are all free of virus without having to rely on antivirus software on each machine.

Hell, theres hardware that even is dedicated to different areas.. such as Email, Network, Mobile. All with their own solutions.

:D ;)

OMG! That picture . . . reminded me of an Andy Griffith show rerun, that hubby and I were watching last week. Barney was all up in his chops about his accusation toward Andy, saying that Andy was trying to "steal" Thelma Lou from him! Oh, the drama!!! :p We were laughing ourselves silly over that episode. :joyfull:

Yep, I remember that episode, as I do most.
It was a bunch of "hick" comedy to many, but, there was so much underlying simple brilliance in the vast majority of it. Funny how sometimes "smart folk" ain't as smart as they think they are...! ;)

I think you misread that. ME drama. Then after that a 2 hour flight delay
ohhh.. I thought it was just the Me thing that took 2 hours (hence the delay to the flight, not that the flight itself was delayed).

Question, when the bus switch happened. Had the plane not be delayed 2 hours, would you be close to miss your flight?

Would have no idea how to see Avatar in 3D.
Its not that complex...

You just need:

  1. 3d capable television (passive or active glasses)
  2. the cables needed to run 3d, most 3d blurays have already these.
  3. a 3d capable bluray
  4. the 3d version of Avatar.
Most televisions are 3d ready nowadays.. and most blurays units do play 3 by default as well.

Could be, I'm not well-versed on it all, of course, but, I can't remember the last time we had any major issues.
Our IT guy has taught us to fix many of our own issues, but, he always comes to the rescue if we can't, or we run into a new problem.
And, if he can't (which is very rare), we have an IT specialist company that he also communicates with for help. They do it remotely. :)

Thats usually what I do, remote support and administrating/creating websites :O
