Yeah, I can't wait to see how the Town Center area pans out. Even a few of the high end restaurants. I will go, I will look but looking at some of the prices, yikes. Sure I will treat myself to some souvenirs every trip, I can afford Bassin without a smack to my credit card but some of these stores I am admittedly not their target demographic. But is there enough guests continuously support that many high end stores in an area that locally there are two malls already offering similar? Same kinda goes for the restaurants in DS. How many meals will guests actually travel to DS with the commute being that long and taking a good chunk of time away from the parks for a meal? To me the whole business model is a bit of a gamble. To me it was always telling the line for Earl and now more reviews of the new burger joint than anything else.

Yup, agree with the above. Wanted to mention that I went to Wolfgang Puck's Express (near Earl's--I figure you know where it is in the Marketplace). I always get their chicken plate, but this year I thought it was a bit greasy and not as flavorful as years prior. Can't say I recommend this anymore (even with a coupon I had for WP). I remember when they first opened--they even put in a spring of rosemary on the plate next to the mashed potatoes, and the chicken had this delicious herbed flavoring--like it was slow cooked, for example. From now on, I think I'll just head over to Earl's.

As usual, you shared some good points. The reason that I enjoy these forums so much is because members are allowed to voice any opinions they have. Some I agree with, and some I don't, but at least we have a place where people can speak their mind. (Also, one person's reality may not be another person's reality.) And complaints or suggestions by some members, can sometimes turn into positive solutions through discussions with others.

As long as people are respectful in their discussions, I'm open to hearing all ideas. That's what I love about WDW Magic Forums. :)
Well, at least some of them. There are a few that are toxic and really should be avoided at all costs to keep ones blood pressure under control. It's the same few people expounding on nonsense mostly for the joy of seeing their words in print and attempting to make themselves sound superior to everyone else in the world. In those boards you are welcome to read them and then agree, but, disagreement will not be tolerated.

Finally got a Frostrom FP, it is tier one so I had to swap my Soarin' FP for it so it better be worth it. By the way is it bad that when I ride Frostrom for the first time I'm going to wear my Maelstrom shirt?
It's only acceptable if you are also wearing one of those horned viking hats and waving a Norwegeian flag whilst silently shedding a tear or two, whilst refusing to " Let It Go "

 What's your problem? I do themed countdowns for holidays and special days and have for two years now. I KNOW what Memorial Day stands for but this thread is NOT supposed to have political nor religious posts. (The Mom has put in a warning more than once.) I did not choose to put a military theme for that reason.

I have the utmost respect for our armed service members. I had a grandfather that was a victim of mustard gas in WW1 and went through life with a permanent sneer. A dear friend was a Viet Nam vet that lost his legs and eventually his life due to Agent Orange. My BIL served in the Gulf War, 2 tours in Afghanistan and 4 in Iraq. He deals daily with his PTSD and after retiring from the Marines has become a life coach to help other vets who suffer PTSD. I currently have a much loved nephew that was recently deployed to Syria. I love them all. Soooo you can save your judgemental :cautious: face for someone else.
I love your Memorial Day count down, it reminds me of sun, and fun. So appropriate, for the coming summer season. Having food in the pictures, doesn't hurt either.:happy::happy:

I'm the same way. I spend what is what is my means. Rarely do I charge anything at Disney. While I do build a chunk of cash and money into my checking/debit account for an upcoming trip I know what the budget is. I actually wait most times for purchases towards the end of the trip and pick the things I want the most. While there are all sorts of stuff I could buy over the years I've been fine without having to buy all that much. That is just me, the parks and meals is really enough for me. It is really the parks and some of the food I'm there for over the things to buy.
I don't do much buying either. I usually get something that I will use up, like kitchen magnet paper and pen. Or a special coffee mug. That's about it.
