WOW! Glad that was caught quickly and they helped him so fast! Sometimes there are medical issues just lurking.
I was scared out of my mind, our daughter was there, so I tried to keep a cool head. I could see the panic on her face. I don't know if I could do that today. Hubby says, I'm tough as nails. He may be right, especially with a couple maragarita's under my belt!:D:rolleyes:

I'm DONE for today. I made and decorated a birthday cake, made a cheesecake, made a batch of fudge, and made another batch of lipgloss. Yesterday I made truffles and white chocolate covered preztels. Party 1 of 3 is ready for take-off!

This is her cake...well..I put her name on it, but in the interest of privacy, I airbrushed it out here. It's gaudy as heck, but she loves it.

We're always tougher with a little alcohol in us, aren't we?
At least, as far as we know...! ;)
Again, glad it was all figured out! :)

In '04 on our second family trip to WDW we stayed at POR. The first afternoon we were takin' the boat to DTD, and there was an older couple we were havin' a conversation with. Mostly her, and we found out why when we were close to DTD. He started to roll his eyes, then started to slump over and his wife said "Oh, don't do this to me now!" I thought he might be havin' a heart attack and was ready to start CPR if need be (DWifey was workin' day care at the time and both of us had been trained at least every year since before they released DS from the NICU). It turned out it was diabetic-related, and the driver let them off at the very first stop. We offered to get off to help, but the wife said it was OK, this happens all the time. The kids were a little freaked (heck, we all were) but, they were very proud of us for bein' ready to help.

Out with the old and in with the new. Cancelled our October trip to Disney, booked a cruise on the Oasis of the Seas, again. The ship was refurbished in Oct. 14....increased cost for the same cruise, and virtually the same room? Exactly 100.00$ for the week, a really good deal. Less walking for us too. I got cruise fever looking at the photo's. :p
I think the cost increase of some cabins are because of the same refurbishment. they added the quantum's "virtual" varandahs.
also, I think the "Broadway on the seas" plans were added in 2015.

Disney has it's faults, at the moment but, they have top notch medical staff on hand. Grandson played in a sprinkler at Disney Springs, he developed a severe headache. He was quickly picked up by an ambulance, and taken to the hospital. He had a major migraine headache. They gave him a shot at the hospital, and he was good to go. I used to get a lot of migraines, I suspect there is a genetic reason for those, as my Mom had a lot of those. Anyway kudo's to Disney for quickly calling an ambulance. This is the kid that got his black belt at age 9. We knew he could stand a lot of pain, so this was unusual, for him. The older grandson, we would take him back to the room, and let him go to bed.;)

Oh, I've checked in every day, just had very little time to post. I've re-injured my hip (probably from Tuesday's concert because there was so much standing involved, and quite a bit of walking and stairs before the actual concert) so I'm moving really slowly, but still have just as much to get done. I'm hoping that if I rest it this weekend, I'll be back to normal by Tuesday when I have to work.

A couple of videos of Tuesday. The first one is Mr. Blue Sky, which was just our choir. The 2nd is Rhythm of Life with Ernst Daniel Smid, who is a famous Dutch singer, Laura Engel who is a famous Dutch opera singer, and Anne-Mieke Ruyter who was a famous Dutch actress who did the dutch version of Three's Company.

Oh, I'm sorry that you injured your hip again. I may have forgotten, getting old is the pits. Get better soon. Prayers for you.

I'm spending tomorrow looking at all the upgrades. You just made me more excited for October. Like you, I'm hoping for no hurricane's. Been there, and done that. But if the ship can stand it, so can I. (I bring dramamine, just in case, lol)
