There is some "spread" cheese that sorta is like butter.
I like Philadelphia cream cheese for example.

Is that the standard design, office paper plate? I noticed that same design on something else you photographed from the office on another day. Wasn't sure if your boss insisted that all the paper plates be the same design (kinda like a uniform, but for paper plates)?

I just saw a tip the other day...there's an app called ASPIRE and it's mostly to do with domestic violence, BUT, there's a feature for anyone who's dating. You can pre-program a message and if you tap the app 3 times, it sends out that message that you need help, and once you activate it, your phone starts recording everything going on in the room. It looks like just a normal app, so if the guy is a creeper, he won't notice what's going on...it doesn't blink or make noise or anything that would alert him to the fact that it's being recorded. It also activates tracking on your phone so police can find you.
Edited to add: I forgot to mention that if you have this app, and you are on a date and start to feel funny, like he maybe put something in your drink, activate it immediately. The drugs can work within 10-15 minutes, so if you start to feel weird, you need to act fast.

Now that is tech at its best!

Mmm, I just bought a brick of pepperjack yesterday.

I love pepperjack cheese too, well most cheeses I love actually. I just don't know how the pepperjack is incorporated into the cornbread recipe.

We didn't do so bad with the snow. It was heavy but not so deep, the horrid stuff stayed East of us. We lucked out. Last night we actually got ice which I didn't know before I let Walt out the last time yesterday evening. Ooops. I thought it was just wet on porch. And then there was lightening as I was going to sleep. What the heck? Today it was sunny, very windy and cold.

I was just thinkin' today, when I took that pic, how all my office food shots are on the same design paper plate...I swear...!!!!!
And, actually, that design has always been chosen and purchased by our Office Manager, 'cause my 4 "bosses" (the partners) ain't got no time for that...!

On a side note...
Last Friday was our Office Managers last day. She was the SIL of one of the partners, and they hired her during a difficult time in her life. She was AWESOME!!! We already miss her very much. She secured another position and moved back to KC, Kansas to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
But, our Office Assistant and one of the other partners wives are doin' a good job 'til we find a suitable replacement.

I'll try to talk our next OM into purchasing these...!

It's Rio.

I haven't spoken to my BFF yet. Her DD rowed in the Olympics last time and has a great shot for Rio. Now I don't know what will happen. Brazil stated last week that have given up on cleaning up the water of raw sewage and pollutants for the olympics. The Olympic Officials have stated any rowers or canoe participants that fear for the safety of their health should consider not attending or competing in those olympic events. And then their is the freak'n mosquitoes. She is married, 29 and hasn't had kids yet and they are saying avoid having children for 2 years if exposed to those mosquitoes. Wonder if mosquitoes go by sewage water?
