Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Well, that sucks...although wooden nickles may be worth more than oil futures, these days.
What about cruiser purchased insurance? Have no clue, just askin'...?
If they have some form of travelers insurance it should cover some of the flight foul up expenses and possibly the hotel to get them home. If the cruise line payed out to the passengers the travelers insurance is off the hook for the cruise. You can't file an insurance claim for something you already settled on because the insurance company could not subbrogate the loss with the cruise line. Basically double dipping can't happen if you cause the insurance companies Recovery Dept not to be able to attempt to reclaim their loss from the cruise line.
