Poor choice of Royal Caribbean to send that ship into heart of that Atlantic storm instead of avoiding it.
There has to be some mechanical problem. Years ago I took a Cruise to the Bahamas on Carnival and we hit directly in a gale. That ship hardly even jiggled. It felt like it was on a solid foundation. No rock or roll, no one I saw was even seasick. Just guessing here, but, it seems like the stabilizers must have not been functioning properly or at all.

Me too. There were quite a few things we did in DHS that we though about skipping. I'm glad we had one last memory.:):(

I think it was 2012 when I rode to relive old memories Snow White one last time in Fantasyland with my then adult son. Glad I took one last trip through to kinda say so long, had many more opportunities to ride again that trip, had no desire. It closed the next month.

Same trip I arrived on the last day of Test Track before it was reimagineered. I rode TT 3 times in 4 hours. Closed the next morning. While that attraction needed major help I do miss the old version. This version just reminds me of riding Rockin. I feel the same way about Nemo at Epcot, Nemo just ticks me off from what that pavilion once was.

Both of my kids were able to ride the submarines. None of us really missed them. Unlike many I found it to be a one and out type of attraction while Toad I still miss. Strange I feel so differently about the loss or reimagineered attractions. I guess that makes me a moderate.

Hi, all. I'm still very sick. The bugs today are the pits. Hubby is now coming down with this. Will be back in a day or two. I'm so far behind. I will do ketchup when I can. I miss you all. I can't sit up for long without getting really dizzy, and sick to my stomach. Back to Sierra Mist and Crackers and chicken soup. :(

Awe. Be well my friend. So glad this wasn't your trip week. At least you can think back to last week to make your thoughts happy.

Nope, the storm was that strong and they didn't sail around it as advised. Now the NTSB is opening an investigation. Last year when we sailed Carnival we couldn't make port at Grand Turk because of a storm and double-timed out of the area. Never felt a thing but they did close the sports deck that day.

So, Public Schools were off. Unfortunately, colleges were not so lucky The blizzard has desensitized us to snow. I have a migraine thanks to the weather, so I went in for my first class, took a quiz and left, and now I intend to nap. Skipping chorus too and possibly my class this evening if I'm not feeling better by then.

Also, I am moving to Florida at some point and never coming back.

Right there with ya Sister Friend, I'll meet ya down there.

I need to go shovel. Not enough for @MinnieM123 to make a snowman but enough to make a snow angel.
We haven't gotten that much that sticks. It hits the pavement and melts. Which makes me a happier camper; I did not feel like cleaning off my car when I had to switch campuses. It was still wise for schools to close today. Buses and new drivers should not be out today. I don't like my SUV most days of the week, but it's wonderful in this kind of weather.

Me the germaphobic I live on a different level when someone has a bug. I open windows, I clorox everything multiple times a day too. Generally when everyone is well I don't have to clean for a week.
