So glad this is working out for her. After the last few gigs she deserves a nice place to work.

And it is nice to see some companies going back to inviting a guest. I understand both sides of that coin though. Some spouses would like to go, others dread. Then the pressure for those who would rather go alone or have nobody to drag with. Socializing with your spouse or socializing with just the people you work with getting a chance to get to know them.

Thanks, she really likes it there. :)

Every company we've ever worked for that had a Christmas party has always allowed us to bring a spouse/significant other/date along.
I've always enjoyed hers and she mine. :)

Did anybody else watch the documentary about Snow White on ABC tonight? It was very good despite there being way too many commercial breaks. I'm not even that big a fan of the movie, but it's a great story.

Unfortunately, I missed the show. Just didn't realize it was on.
But I've read about the making of the film in several Walt Disney Biographies.
Incredible story, indeed...! :)

Wow, I have nearly 100 pages to catch up on!! That's going to take a while!!! The good news is that the busies are pretty much behind me now. I have to work tomorrow night, but I have nothing during the day, and Saturday I have a concert, but that's it. So I should have TIME to catch up! Yay!!
Welcome back I was about to send out a search party. Or at least a Ferret with a halo

It's doing much better. I took off the bandage and put antibiotic cream on it. I expect it will heal fine. I wonder if my finger print will be altered?;)

Over 20 years ago, I accidentally sliced deep into the tips of my middle and ring fingers on my left hand with a bow saw.
Needed stitches, and the scarring definitely, and permanently, altered my fingerprints on both fingers. Plus, even after all these years, both fingertips are still noticeably numb.
Great for playing the guitar, though...! ;) :)
