I never saw any of the Despicable Me films.

*runs and hides*

In my opinion you aren't missing much. I had to supervise I movie room last year for our middle school holiday (Christmas) activities and I got stuck with Despicable Me (I think it was number 2). I hadn't seen the first one and those little minions drove me nuts, I thought they were annoying.

I have a funny idea if you really wanted to mess around with their heads. Go find some old Lincoln Logs (maybe in your grandparents' attic, in an old toy chest) and put them out where the kids normally play. See if they know what to do with them?! :joyfull: :hilarious:

Heheee...!
I loved my Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys, and Legos.
Most likely why I got into the architecture game...! :)

For @figmentfan423 : I made the snitch earrings today and they turned out really cute. So, here's how I did it. First here are the things you need. If you don't have the round nose pliers, you can use something else round to wrap the wire.20151107_113041.jpg

So you take the head pins and string the gold bead and the wings onto it:

Then you wrap the end of the headpin around the round pliers to get a sort of ring.

Thank you one of my boys brought it home so being under a bit of stress and the close proximity of germs ............ I can't complain too much as I hardly ever get sick
I used to get sick all the time. I was sick about half the year. I would get a cold, which would turn into a sinus infection, for which the doctor will not give antibiotics, but my body wouldn't get rid of it on its own. Then it would develop into bronchitis and sometimes cause an ear infection, which I was grateful for (the ear infection) because then the doctor would finally give me meds. If I got no ear infection, I'd have that sinus infection for months and keep going back to the doctor until I got something else that require antibiotics and then it would finally go away. Then a few years ago, my doctor suggested we try removing my adenoids. So we did and I haven't gotten so sick since. I get a cold, it lasts a few days, and goes away. Done. SOOOOO nice. I hope you feel better really soon!!

Had a great time with DD on our roadtrip. Lots of amazing fall fix'n food, hot ciders, pumpkin cheese cakes. One thing more yummy than the next. We went to a rural craft fair, these folk are very talented and unlike here the crafts are affordable. My DD collected some more decorations for Thanksgiving and Christmas for her place, one cuter than the next.

Plus we had a meal at Cracker Barrel. Their braised pot roast was beyond amazing. Could just cut with a fork, gravy luscious. While it came with their famous carrots and mashed potatoes we both ordered the hash brown casserole 'cause how can one go to Cracker Barrel without hash brown casserole???? :geek:

Not Disney but a great trip. Just love traveling with my kids.

We are an odd family that way. Rarely do we drive each others cars. We know we can, we just rarely do. My DDs car is the smallest so I tend to insist that she takes mine when she is doing highway driving or when it snows hard and she has to travel because mine has
4x4. For the most part we all drive what is considered our own cars.
The problem is.. we didnt have a choice. no other cars to use while the other one is in repairs.
