The live action Cinderella I love, although Ever After is still my favorite version of Cinderella. I liked that the prince had more personality, that it explained her backstory a bit better (like why the stepmother hated her and why she chose not to leave). Plus Cinderella in that movie was strong. Not in a kick-butt kind of way, but she didn't allow her circumstances to break her, and she didn't put her own happiness above the well-being of the prince and the kingdom.

I actually don't like the animated one that much...and Cinderella is my second least favorite princess, right next to Snow White, who is at the bottom. I watched both versions on the same day after I had my surgery, and I much preferred the new version. The prince's lack of personality in the original really bothers me. That, and Lucifer.

I love love love Ever After! Love it!

And not realistic. Cats do not act out of spite or vengeance. They act a certain way because, well, they're cats.

Of course, talking mice aren't exactly realistic either...

Not going to lie, my cat can be a bit of a jerk and I'm quite sure he is doing it on purpose. He will wait until he has eye contact with me and then push an ornament off the mantel with his paw...just because he can.

I wonder, what so special about this "Quantico" ?
Isnt it a show very similar to others that handle "FBI" like cases? like criminal minds?

I have never watched Criminals Minds but I find it different than other FBI shows I have watched. It reminds me of the first season of Grey's Anatomy a bit I that is a group of people in training. But there's also a whole mystery layer to it where you are trying to solve a whodunnit.

speaking of meat.. I just read that the MMO (or world medical association or whatever its called)
just released a report that says SOME MEAT is direct cause of colonorectal cancer.
but in the news papers (again, trying to get people to buy the thing) they make it sound like ALL MEAT causes it.
When in tiny letters it says only processed food that has been altered (aka sausages, ham..etc..) and in high quantities..

That is pretty much usual in everything.. anything that is ingested in high quantities = damaging to our body.

I have been following this story and it seems a little too early to me for them to be declaring this. It is based on small studies and there are other stories that conflict it.

I remember we had over 150 one year, my back killed me from getting up and down so much. Maybe, I just should stand at the door. Whoops, then my feet would be killing me. ha We bought over 1,200 suckers and hundreds of chips this year, as Halloween is over the week-end. We have people driving to our neighborhood and letting out dozens of kids. I guess word gets around that we have a safe neighborhood. We have seen several police go up and down our street during Halloween. I can't blame the parents for looking for a safe place to trick or treat!

One guy in our neighbourhood just sits outside with his bucket so he doesn't have to get up and down. (I imagine that can be a little chilly some years though.) Another sets up shop in his garage which he decorates as a haunted house. And others just leave the bowl of candy outside for people to help themselves. I haven't handed out candy in years as we are out all evening trick or treating with our little ones.
