Fortunately, our vacation days roll over.

So do his but only up to 6 weeks. he'll be starting next year with 6 weeks and we're only going to be on the road for about 4 so he'll need to find a few extra days next year as well. funny thing is he's working on a project that has some crazy hours so his boss told him to find a comfy cot as he might be living at work for a while starting some time in the next week or 2

There are some Christmas movies I watch all year round, like Polar Express. I LOVE that movie. It reminds me of being at Sea World on Christmas Eve and being on the ride.

I'm like you. I would never pass up a Christmas movie. I think it's my favourite genre.

Had a wonderful day with my number one man at the science museum. Tonight I get to join him at Beavers, which he just began last month. Tonight there is a ceremony where he gets his tail. Cutest thing ever! It has been a great day.

Happy Wednesday! It was 34 degrees by me this morning. Last year the first snow was November 6th. I think we will beat that this year...

Glad I do not live in Wisconsin...it was 66 degrees when I left class.

I'm on oral steroids (prednisone). Sleep is out of the question. Last night, I went to bed at 1 am, which is late for me during the semester; I'm usually ready before then. And I had a dream that we were at a baseball game, but there was an ABC store at the stadium and the stadium was at the airport. That might be my weirdest steroid dream, other than the recurring boats overturning at Splash and POTC and that mermaid one...

Need to go play piano for a while to stretch out my hand. Then will probably take a bath and then do homework. I have a long day tomorrow, starting at 9:25, three classes, last one ending at 5:45, and then work. But I have time for nebulizer treatments, so I will carry on. Then Friday, I have PT, then work, then something in the evening. Then Saturday I can rest.

Today, my Spanish professor referred to Big Bang Theory three times, referred to Seinfeld once, which had nothing to do with class, and said "Holy Sh-t" in English at one point. He's a character.

Have you ever piped green icing on sugar cones to make Christmas trees? We then use red hots, sprinkles, etc., as the decorations.

DD and I did this one year at home. Plus we "made a gingerbread house out of graham crackers. with those small candy canes. I made royal icing it was fun for a 6 year old , and Mom too!

Then that shall be my excuse for my lunch today. To be fair, I wasn't home and had to find SOMETHING to eat. But I'm just going to say I was celebrating Thursday. Oh hey! Today is the 2nd Thursday of the month, which is when my friends and I always celebrate Cake Day. So I DID have a legitimate celebration today!!

We had a carrot cake cupcake today. picture to follow , soon it was really good. Holly wood studios.

this is one of the OASIS ships? where in Mexico did you go to?
Must have been either Cozumel or Cancun right? I dont think the OASIS class goes to the pacific. But these mountains baffles me.

We went to both Cozumel and Cacun. Both places were beautiful.

Watching Live with Kelly and Michael and bawling my eyes out. Kelly got a star on the walk of fame and they are doing a really nice tribute/celebration. I'm such a sucker.

I used to watch Kelly and Regis all the time, started watching Regis and Kathie Lee with my mom. But when Michael came on board after Regis left it just wasn't the same. I think she has worked hard to get where she is at and I respect that, just don't care for the show anymore (unless they are at WDW!).

I talked about the Big Band Theory to some of my classes today too. I did not say Holy Sh*t though, at least not to my students.
