What? Are you allowed to sit on them? According to my boys sitting is not allowed at Disney!
I actually wonder if the removal of the benches is not just a smart way to force people to the stores. But also.. theres so few benches that they might cause fights during fireworks/parades.
not to mention.. there are some really dumb people that would fall or hit themselves on them :/

Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking mall bangs must be what the bad hairstylists do when they cut them too short and uneven. Perhaps they were called that because they were done at a shop in the mall? lol

Speaking of...my son got such a haircut last month. I am no hairstylist but I had to straighten it when we got home. Poor little kid...it looked hilarious. Really short on one side and down past his eyebrow on the other. I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't stop laughing. I would have taken it back for her to fix but I'm pretty sure the poor dear wouldn't know how. Anyway...Mama did an ok job. I told him to pretend it was a new style.

This isn't my son, but honest to God, this is what he looked like when she was finished. I give you "mall bangs":

I had the displeasure of getting an uneven haircut once by a "professional" stylist as well.
Not fun at all. Worse when said stylist insists the haircut is fine. (there was very uneven light in her business, with strong sun light coming from one side.. thus giving her false views of the customers).
never went there again.. and I suppose she loses clients continuously.. never seen her business full or even with clients..

I got a bad hair cut at a salon. Went to another salon, to have the hairdresser scold me for trying to cut my hair. That's the last cut I had, I hate to spend money twice and have a bad experience!

I'm convinced people caused Disney to remove bench's. Probably someone got hurt on a bench, and away they went!

My former BIL was a lifetime Marine that did two tours in Afghanistan and three in Iraq. He won't talk about things he's seen or done. His best friend died beside him. :(
How tragic. My great great grandfather was a captain in the civil war. I have a copy of a letter he sent home to his wife, which is actually surprisingly graphic...I wouldn't have expected someone to explain such things to a woman in that time period, but it is very interesting to read and very sad. The things that people see...that would be hard to live with every day. I can completely understand someone not wanting to talk about it and relive it. Thank your BIL for his service for me, please!

Oh that poor child!!! I cut my own bangs because the stylist always cuts them too short. Every stylist I've ever allowed to cut them has cut them too short. I like them at eyebrow length or just barely above. Did you actually PAY for it when she cut them so unevenly?

My grandfather stopped by today to give us my great-great grandfather's violin and viola. My great great grandfather was in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. The violin and viola are each over 100 years old. Sad because all I could do today was tune them, play the strings with no fingering using my violin's bow, and pluck "Twinkle twinkle little star" as if they were guitars. But once my hand heals, going to teach myself viola.

I think black looks very nice and dressy, but I love color too. Especially blue. I'm almost always in blue at Disney. This time I got a red Magic Band. I'm going to link all the colors and put on the Christmas tree.;)
I wear color now. I wear black pants, but I generally have a brightly colored top. I was severely insecure back in high school. I WISH I looked like I did back then. Part of it is that I was the first in my class to develop, and I tried to hide it with baggy clothing, which just ended up making me look chubby. I was bigger than the other girls, but it was because I actually had hips and such. But I was very conservative and convinced that nice girls don't have...curves. When I played Daisy Mae in our school's production of Lil Abner, I had to wear an off the shoulder top and I was horrified because I felt it accentuated my bust, which was rather large in proportion to the rest of my body, and I felt self conscious and embarrassed. So I wore a lot of shapeless clothing and bland colors. Now I LOVE color. My wardrobe is kind of a rainbow now. I'm still a bit self-conscious about my size and about the size of my bust, but I don't try to hide it with the mousy clothing. I try to wear things that draw the eyes somewhere else and bring out my better features instead.
