@MOXOMUMD , I hope your daughter has a really nice first day of school. I've enjoyed your school countdown pictures--very cute! Note: 'm still amazed that your schools start so early, as the schools around here don't start until after Labor Day (most of them, anyway).

Our GS have been in school a week, they both love it. The middle school child is making new friends, and loving changing classes. Yes....

He actually smoked the brisket for his church council so there had to be a lot of food. I made homemade white cheddar and gouda mac and cheese, potato salad, and a lettuce salad (out of the bag). I made scotcheroos for dessert.

Hee-hee, this reminds me of the movie Steel Magnolias: "It's got gray icing. I can't even begin to think how you make gray icing!" That and the "nice piece of a$$" comment.
