I have just watched two straight hours of coverage of the tragedy in Ottawa today.
That beautiful 24 year old Reservist killed, was from Hamilton, the city immediately east of me.

We have had our photo taken with the soldiers in front of that memorial.
I have stood in that exact spot.
I have toured the Centre Block, walked those halls ....

Anyway, your various animal "attacks" made me howl! Thank you.

I honestly dont think the attack was "terrorism". Looked more like a pair of nutzjobs who went postal (a la Boston) but focused on the government.

I still wonder.. WHO THE HELL ATTACKS CANADA?
isnt Canada one of the most peaceful countries out there?

Yes, Canada is usually peaceful. However, I was watching an interview with one of the Canadian government people on CNN this morning, and he said that yesterday was a wake-up call, and the day that, "Canada lost its innocence."

What happened in Ottawa is tragic. Nutjobs are everywhere, you never know where and when you may meet one. Scary.
We went to Canada 3 years ago, it felt like nothing could happen to us there, even in big cities... Beautiful country.

Speaking of Halloween, is anybody else besides me wanting to watch the cartoon of The Legend of Sleepy Hallow? I remember when it would be on annually in the fall around Halloween time. It was a great cartoon.
