@StarWarsGirl95 @Gabe1 or anyone else. Any more advice for a DL first timer? Note that DW has been there before but before the carsland expansion and never with a toddler.

My general advice for Disneyland as a first timer is to avoid commando on the first day. Take some time to soak up the old charm of Disneyland. Where DL has many of the same attractions the park itself to me is like a beautiful landmark, so many old quaint quirky areas and details that just could not be duplicated in the MK. Ride the attractions gone from the MK or never built in MK.

The dark rides my kids enjoyed at your DD age because they didn't have that fear factor developed in them yet. I also helped that along, with PoC in line I taught them to use thumb and index finger to get the pirates (pa-tu pa-tu inside voice) during the ride to turn the ride into an interactive game and distracted just enough to not have time for fear. HM was another game, how many times they could use (inside voice) but find the ghost and you had to softly say Boo! That way it was a positive to look for the hidden ghosts. Inside voice was a skill I always worked with my kids on, for restaurants, church etc. cause they are not going to always be silent and it payed off in the parks too.

So @Gabe1 , guess what I found last night at a different grocery store, from the one I shopped at on Saturday? Ammonia!! Real, honest to goodness, ammonia. Thanks to @Cesar R M 's suggestion, I looked in the bathroom cleaning section and there it was--stuck in the back of a bottom shelf--no fancy bottle, either. Had to be the most bland, nondescript plastic bottle. No wonder nobody can find it!! Those ammonia manufacturers certainly don't believe in spending any money on marketing, that's for sure.

Anyway, since my laundry was already done for this past weekend, I'll try it this coming weekend and see if my towels can rise out of their putrescent state. So stay tuned this weekend!! :p
