@Figgy1 plan a trip to Mexico. When we used to go there were large bottles of vanilla extract for sale (larger than Minnie's example) for a fairly cheap price. My sister went down last year for vacation and brought me back a bottle. It is good vanilla. And then you could have a nice tropical vacation!

The convention/Expo in question is Midwest Gaming Classic. From a gaming standpoint, this event has video games, Air hockey, laser tag, arcade games, pinball, computer games, table top gaming, chess, trade card gaming such as Magic the gathering as an example, speed cubing aka solve Rubik's cube quickly, and live action rpgs aka Dungeons and Dragons.

@Agent H, this gaming event in not a corporate event and that means nothing on Nintendo Switch 2 although new pinball games do first show up here. The event does have demos of upcoming games, but no upcoming games on modern games systems unless it something like an Atari 7800+.

Midwest gaming Classic for video games is anywhere from classic video games to modern gaming.
The organizers of the Midwest Gaming Classic announced there were 40,000 attendees from April 4th to the 6th despite the event on the 4th didn't start before 6 at night.

It also is a reason it took my younger brother and I over 5 hours at Vendor Hall before entering other rooms the event had. It was crowded. Vendor Hall had more than video games, and computer games although there was a lot of it. There had stuff like swords, lego sets, board games, lightsabers, armor, shields, art, home decor including video game magnets, vinyl records, toys, and even homemade bath bombs.

This. I just cant believe how pricey the bottles are here in Canada...
You could get 300 bottles in Mexico for what one costs here...

Sitting on my year's worth of stevia is a bag of vanilla beans, next project this week, starting vanilla extract for later this year View attachment 852324
Your house is going to smell so good! I love the smell of vanilla.

We have to bake for DH's birthday this weekend. E is making him Tiramisu. (Authentic recipe from one of the Italian host families where the kids stayed on their exchange week....the family owns a restaurant.) And because only DH will eat Tiramisu (the rest of us don't like coffee) we are making chocolate chip cookies so we have something for US.

Yes I have lol. Try it in devilled eggs and burgers.

My wife, Carolyn, hates anchovies. You should have seen the look on her face, years ago, when I informed her that anchovies are a main ingredient in Worcestershire sauce…!!!!!:hilarious:
She still loves it, though…!!! :)
I wish I had $5 for every bottle of Worcestershire and Tabasco we’ve gone through over the years…!!!!! :hungry:;)
