Just an fyi: If anyone is planning on watching (all or part of it) today --

Daytona 500 -- moved up 1 hour, due to expected weather issues

New Start Time: 2:00 PM (EASTERN)

Didn't help much did it LOL

I'm definitely not a die-hard NASCAR fan but will watch Daytona and Talladega. I guess I don't understand the "stages". All they seem to be is a recipe for disaster on the restarts. 🤷‍♀️

Stage racing was introduced by NASCAR back in 2017. I get the concept behind it, but I'm not a fan. I prefer that the race just goes on without scheduled interruptions; and whomever is first at the finish line at the end of the race, is the winner!

Not from your viewpoint, although I would be guessing no where south wants it.

I don't think you don't want the state of Wisconsin is getting at night though . Its going to 7 below zero tonight in the area I live in. Tomorrow night is going to be 2 below zero with a high of 10 degrees. We still got all that snow from last Wednesday to Sunday morning.

As bad as that sounds you, the Water park capital of the world is even colder in Wisconsin due to it being as low as 14 below zero tonight.

When my youngest grandchild was about 3 years old, she had to watch that show. I always felt that there were a lot of references in it that only an adult might get. Nothing bad, just a little above their experience level. Anyway, I enjoyed watching that with her mostly because it was good, funny and the option was My little Pony. In the meantime... Where's Perry? I got her a big stuffed Perry at the Disney Store that used to be in our mall here. So now it is really a where's Perry story.

P.S. She still has it in her bedroom. She's 13 now. Typing her age just now was depressing. Where the hell has the time gone.

They've always done that. There's a Kim Possible episode that references 1960s Batman; they even got Adam West to come do a voice. They also did references from a few other older TV shows, notably original Star Trek. It did go over my head as a kid, then I rewatched as an adult...

There were also some jokes in there that were absolutely for adults. Gotta have the adults wanting to watch with the kids.
