I hate to sound harsh, but it’s like havin’ a baby in the house again. And, we actually have a baby monitor in her room.

You mean the Circle of Life Sometimes Sucks! Nothing much in life has scared me much, but as I got older I am not ashamed to admit that the future, on so many levels, scares the crap out of me, especially if I lose my ability to be ME at some point.

Yea, the future really doesn’t scare me much for myself anymore, but it does scare me for our kids and granddaughters.
Too much of the world is “on fire” right now, and I feel helpless to do anything about it.
That is something I, occasionally, do lose sleep over.

Should have been living in my area this year. I think we have had a total of maybe 6-8 inches since October. And each time it melted within a week. Very bad for our farmers but not for me. It hasn’t even been super cold either.

In my area of Wisconsin? I can't remember a time in my 40+ years. We have had some snow gone by late-mid February but we had certainly had a decent ground cover before that. But we barely had any ground cover at all. In Southern Wisconsin they have had a lot more than in my northern area. I do hope there is a decent amount of rain in the future though so our farmers don't suffer.
