I have four vacuums that I use dependent on my abilities on any given day. I have a big ole Kenmore tank vacuum with a beater bar on the nozzle. It is getting old but it works great. Since I had my back problems I've only been able to use it a few times because it raises hell with my back and I have to do it in tiny segments. The second is a little dirt devil upright. It works pretty well but it is VERY LOUD and is difficult to get under things that the Kenmore easily gets under. The third is a robot (don't remember the name and I'm too lazy to get up and look). It is like a little child that is always getting stuck and or lost. So far I've been lucky that when it did get tangled up or unable to find it's way out it was close to freedom on it's own, just to stupid to turn the right way and come out but I can still reach it without moving furniture. I bought it on sale from Amazon. It also seems to have forgotten one of my rooms because the last three time I used it, it completely missed my spare room/office. I am impressed at just how much it does pick up though. My forth is a internal battery operated hand held that really works pretty well for small spills. Oh, yea I forgot, I also have a hand held 12 volt hand held for my car. Haven't used it yet, just got it for Christmas.

In short I have a whole lot of things that suck in my life, but I try to just stay positive.

I do have a robot vacuum coming for use in the basement. It wouldn't do much good in the upstairs because of the step down into the family room, but the basement is apartment -sized, so it'll work well. That one is a Shark brand. We've had a bug problem in the basement, and to add to that, my cat Ella brought me a dead mouse, so I'm hoping that running a robot vacuum twice a week will help alleviate both problems. Pretty sure the mouse was a baby that should have known better with the cats, so hopefully that is the only one.

I have never bought a vacuum myself. Obviously, since I live in my parents' house, they have purchased all of the vacuum cleaners in the past, but since I am spending more and more time in the basement, I decided to get the vacuum I wanted. We have pretty much only bought Dysons since I was in middle school. I haven't had very good luck using anything else with my asthma. The other ones kick up dust into the air. Dysons have HEPA filters on them and reliably do not kick up dust. I understand Sharks are also pretty good at not kicking up allergens, but I prefer my Dysons.

We still have every Dyson that we've ever owned. Either they've lasted or Dyson has done repairs on them for a reasonable price. The upright that's in the basement is the original Dyson. Which is the other reason why I decided to shell out for another Dyson. Heck, if Dyson made the robots, I would have bought it. Sadly, they do not.

When we moved into the new house at the end of Dec., one of the things we bought (along with a lot of new furniture :greedy::cry:;):hilarious:) was a Shark. It sure was fun watchin’ that thing “learn”…!!!!! 😅
The dogs were a little freaked at first, but, now they just lay there while it makes its rounds…!!! :)
Still has to be followed up with a regular human-controlled vacuuming now and then, but, it does pretty good…although, not yet as good as #jetsonsvacuum…!!!!! 😅;):hilarious:

Also, I found a new channel since we moved in…MeTV (Memorable entertainment Television), which has everything from The Andy Griffith Show, to The Beverly Hillbillies, to Green Acres, to Hogan’s Heroes, to The Carol Burnett show, etc.
Lovin’ it…!!!
