15 days until Thanksgiving View attachment 753199
I have 2 countdowns. One is for when my permanent crown gets on and the other is when mom has her birthday meal.

Mom wants the family at supper club for her Birthday meal. Good news is my permanent crown will be on a couple days before than. I know I will be having crab stuffed mushrooms, 8 oz. filet mignon, onion shreds, and French fries before dessert.

This is what I will have for dessert at the supper club:

Yah, one is just a warm-up. Two is a snack for them . . . :hilarious:
One time dh gave them one 2 hours before we went to a buffet which they cleaned out as usual, one time it was about 2 hours after:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
The time dh let them have one before dinner he didn't realize where we were going was a buffet. I book all the meals and always ask him where he wants to eat but if it's not on his we've been there recently list that he wants to return to his mind is like swiss cheese:cautious:

you're the first person I know that has had that monstrous meal
I had one once and it wasn't something I would not want again, but even if it had all those evil problems it isn't like I would have one on a regular basis. All things in moderation is my code of existence. If I were only going to WDW once a year and only had one of them each year, I truly doubt that it would have any impact on me, health wise.

I know it is said jokingly that what you get to eat at WDW has no calories or any other detrimental thing, but there is an element of truth to that considering the amount of overall exercise one gets. I ate a lot of things while I was there and I don't think I ever gained any weight or had any bad feeling except that too full syndrome.

@MinnieM123 have you secured dinner reservations yet?
The state of Wisconsin has a thanksgiving dinner option for people like her in terms of drive-thru. The local Supper Club is open for Thanksgiving. They have a drive thru option and dine in reservation option for Thanksgiving. The drive thru option has no need for reservations.

This Thanksgiving dinner in question has white & dark meat Turkey with gravy, house-made Mashed Potatoes, from-scratch Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes with brown sugar, Green Beans, and their own cranberry sauce with people have to pay $30.00 at the drive thru window.
