FTFY.We’re NOT having your kind of weather @Figgy1 !
Blue skies, sun and 89 feels like temp of 105.
The local weather people are crediting Texas for giving Southeastern Wisconsin to have a record high Labor Day temperature.
From what you have posted on this board, I'd say that you have very strong gene's in the family, but even with that, I'll bet you that there isn't a day that goes by that they don't ask themselves if tomorrow will be that day. Just a natural thing. As we get older we tend to have it cross our minds more often. Don't get me wrong, it isn't something we think about constantly, but I'll guarantee you that they have the thought. People like your parents are not just physically strong, but mentally strong as well. I joke about it myself, but you will have to understand that I refuse to just let myself be old and as long as I can move a limb, I will "not go gentle into that good night" and will "rage against the dying of the light," I don't remember it entering my brain box when I was 60 either. I have a mixed likelihood because my mom passed at 87 but my dad was only 74. So I'm up for grabs at this point, but unless they make me an offer I can't refuse, I will be fighting it every inch of the way.
Dream Weaver was one of my favorites!
That would be a real nightmare situation for me, I'm petrified of snakes.
Your wife is braver than I am as I always skip the reptile house. My DWifey Carolyn, also.
She would brave the reptile house at the San Antonio Zoo when the kiddos were little, but, she definitely didn’t like it…!!!!!
We hit 102 degrees here yesterday. But it has been within 2 or 3 degrees of 100 for the last month at least.YEEEEEHHHAAAAAWWWWWWW…!!!!!!!!!!!
Did it at least get to 100 for only the 35th time since 1871…?!!!
