We had those 15 consecutive days at 105+ degree heat, then Tuesday it only got up to 98 before the rain moved in, but, every day since has been well over 100 degrees again.
People here either get used to it, or the they move to a cooler warm climate…!!!!! :hilarious: ;)
I guess we live in the cooler warm climate?! This is by far the hottest I ever remember. We broke a record since 1935.

I know I have said I was not going to WDW any longer. Resorts costs are out of control. But things change in ones life. As a Vietnam Vet medical issues related to agent orange have reared it's ugly head and I will soon be classified a 100% disabled which opens up Shades of Green resort which is very reasonable priced so I will take advantage while I still can.
I've heard that Shades of Green is a lovely resort, so I'm happy to hear you will eventually stay there. (Sorry to hear about your medical issues, though.)

Probably ‘cause y’all are at a higher altitude than us, maybe, IIRC…?
The 1,000 ft. above sea level line for us runs, literally, right down our dead end property line.

It’s funny, because the previous 105+ degree consecutive day record, that we broke this summer, was from 1923, at 10 consecutive days.
