Stupid question alert.....how do you all know people's birthdays?? Just because you've all been friends for so long???
In some cases. For instance the member with multiple personalities was born on April Fool's Day. That's an easy one to remember;) Members birthdays are also up in the members section should you choose to have your birthday public

I solve that whole confusing problem by driving my own car or a rental. WDW is a lot easier to navigate than most people think.

As a further thought, I always attempt to plan my travel time to get to or next to WDW by no later then late afternoon. I never plan on wasting a day ticket by going there after I arrive in the area. My plan is to always go the next morning. Because I have transportation at my fingertips after I settle in my room, explore the area I'm in and therefore know ahead of time how to get places I want to go too. If I'm exploring for eating establishments I want to go to or attractions, I find the lay of the land. Same for WDW itself. If it is some place I haven't been before (which is kind of difficult at this point) I don't want to be in heavy traffic trying to find my way around. It's just part of my routine and doing so, I find many new things to see and get comfortable with my surroundings and eliminate a whole lot of stress. Also because of the fact that I almost always stay offsite, I find the nearest supermarket to pick up some snacks and drinks for my room and places to buy Disney Souvenirs at half the price. Surprisingly quality stuff with the Disney label.

It didn't involve a whole lot of planning when I started this habit, it was out of necessity on my first trip with my family. I needed to find a way to do it at the lowest price possible. And they say necessity is the mother of invention. It always worked for me and in the process literally saved thousands of dollars over the years and never felt that I missed out on anything. I did stay onsite once and found it more frustrating and massively more expensive and never was tempted again.
When I was growing up, we stayed with my mom's aunt and uncle who lived in Florida. We drove, so we didn't need to rent a car....well, I do remember we flew one time, but that was the only time I'd ever flown. Anyway, we didn't have to pay for a hotel, and I don't ever remember eating in a sit down restaurant, so I'm guessing we never did. And of course, my mom did the driving. But now that I'm an adult and I HATE driving, staying off-site and driving every day would be hugely anxiety inducing, and therefore not conducive to a fun vacation. We just stay onsite so we don't have to worry about transportation and it's SO much more relaxing for me. The only chore I have to do is laundry. Yes, the hotel is more expensive, but I don't have the cost of renting a car, and it's so worth it to me to not have to do something I hate.

When I looked at my notices and saw several in a row from this thread, I thought, “Does someone think it’s my birthday?”

@Tony the Tigger -- in recognition of your happy birthday, here's a little stroll down DOOWOP lane . . .

@Tony the Tigger , I hope you have a great day!

🤣🤣🤣

As beautiful and appreciated this tribute was, it’s not anywhere near my birthday! 🥳

It was very sweet. 💗😃💗 Or was it? Who is trying to make me a year older ahead of schedule?! 🤨

I’ll consider your obligations fulfilled when I actually turn 52 on August 31 of this year!

But I’d love to know the backstory!! 😂 🎂

Rihanna who is pregnant and her backup dancers rocked the house at the Super Bowl halftime show last night. Patrick Mahones MVP probably had a sleepless night partying his SB win now to hop on a plane to make that cross country trip to be at the MVP parade at MK this afternoon.

Actually, Mahomes and his family were at Disneyland today.

Just because we got the date wrong doesn't mean you should let the baked pasta and cake go to waste;)
