The boys are mad at me for not entering them in a potato chip (crisp) eating contest:rolleyes: Anyhoo the winner only ate about 15oz or about a family size bag depending on the brand in 5 minutes:eek: James could do that while not even being slightly hungry and my other ds could do that if slightly hungry:cautious: https://www.psdispatch.com/news/58888/eating-competition-gets-real-chippy-in-exeter
Good thing they are not doing what I did. Yesterday and today. I helped mom with 3 types of her Christmas cookies. My was job and scoop and roll the cookies and taste 1 cookie after certain amount of time out of the oven.

I have a feeling your boys think cookie taster means eat all 12 cookies on cookie pan after done cooling from being in oven.

More than 12 as I have extra-large sheet pans:banghead:

Just left Cartagena de Indias a few hours ago.

So far food has been very good on the Norwegian Jewel, service.. not so much (almost everyone speaks very broken english, worse than me lol)
Where is it based? Like...is it marketed to English-speakers? That seems really weird that they wouldn't speak well. I'm pretty sure most of the European countries require all kids to learn English in school now, and while some won't reach a very high level of proficiency, anyone in the travel industry would be expected to be pretty fluent. I wonder if that's one more thing that corona has thrown for a loop. They can't get employees with the skills they require so they hire people who don't meet the standards, just to have enough staff? That's kind of sad. Are you having a good time anyway?

One of the reasons that I don't follow sports (except the occasional golf tournament) is because I carry a jinx gene. Any team or specific person I really like and want to see win, will not win if I am watching (I take that back, twice, first time in 1969 when the Mets won the World Series and again when Jack won the 1986 Masters). If I watch any other and I pick a team, they will lose, guaranteed! I have developed a system where I will back whatever team I do not like just to make them lose. It isn't a fool proof system, but it keeps my blood pressure at a safe level.

I'm thinking that I might be able to turn this into some income generating setup. I could charge certain sporting teams or individuals to become a fan of their opponents. A pay before play type of system.
Ah, but what happens when 2 opposing sides both pay you to make the other side lose? Do they tie?

Yah, I've been to this one. It may depend upon what day/time you go, but I didn't really care for it. (Went last year.) Thought the layout was kinda confusing and crowded.

I've never heard of it. It doesn't exist here. I looked it up and we're supposed to get one in the Netherlands in 2024, though it doesn't say WHERE. Probably nowhere near me, though.
