Did anyone watch the Santa Clauses last night? Interesting show obviously meant to be towards the younger crowd but sigh......the first movie is still the best. Cringy in some spots.
I have a house full of snow globes thanks to those movies and yes the first was the best.
We watched it last night and imho they went a few places they didn't need to and there were a few, what the heck moments but it was also funny in spots and the kid is cute. Seeing there's only 4 more episodes we'll finish it but I'm not sure it will be a yearly event like the first 3.
I'd say it's not bad, not great but would suggest watching if you're a fan of the series

When your class ended and you're waiting for grades like...

Definitely got an A; just waiting for it to be officially posted so I can turn it into work. Since work is paying for my degree, I have to turn my grades into HR and my boss every time I finish a class...so far I have a 4.0 on degree #2 and it's immensely satisfying to turn in my grades. 🤣

I could get a master's for free at my work but its not really (even if it's free) worth it. (unless it helps me get out of the country)

Mine thinks turning in grades equals to money now:cautious: Food yes, cash no although cash may be cheaper:banghead:

Speaking of food, I read an article where the daughter made her step-father a birthday cake. She expected payment and the step father wouldn't pay so the mother returned the gift she got the step father.
Don't understand this. She made her StepFather a birthday cake, then she expected him to pay for it and rightfully he refused, correct so far? Than her mother returned the gift she got the step father because he wouldn't pay her for the cake? What did one have to do with the other. Was the gift from the mother to the step father or from the girl for her step father? If anyone wonders why the country is in the shape it is, this might go a long way to explaining the absolute ignorance and insanity that some people think is the thing to do. The girl should have gotten a swift kick in the butt, figuratively or literally, and be taught about the way to be a decent person instead of an entitled brat. My advice is as follows: Mr. Step Father, pack your bags and get the hell out of Dodge. You are in a crazy house and it ain't going to get any better.

I really wish I worked for your company lmao.
My boss only "pays" my "salary" to "learn" by using only free sources or public training courses XD

This is my second bachelor's so I can sit for the CPA. In most states, you have to have 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam. It made sense to get a second bachelor's instead of a master's because work will only reimburse up to a certain amount annually (which is pretty typical ; companies get a tax benefit for paying tuition, but only a certain amount per employee per year). So this is cheaper, which means I can take more classes each year and be done faster. Should be studying for the CPA in 2024. Which, joy, is also the year when they're planning on revamping the exam, so I'll be in the group of guinea pigs taking it. 😑

But this is so I can negotiate working from home forever while still making decent money.

Why are you starving that poor cat. I'm surprised she hasn't gone online to turn you into the ASPCA
I'm not starving her. She just doesn't have food she can steal anymore because we trained Ella to eat on top of a counter and she's too clumsy to jump up there. 🤣 Combined with not giving her treats at all and Ella forcing her to run around the house, she's slowly but surely becoming less chonky.

Less.
