Excuse me... When it comes to that nothing evenly compares to females. I've known women that couldn't change a lightbulb, put in windshield washer solvent or even open the hood of their car, pump their own gas, mow a lawn and countless other things to numerous to even mention. That form of incompetence is pretty evenly distributed between the genders. :)
I'm from Jersey! Nobody pumps their own gas:joyfull:

Can do all of the above. Except mow the lawn. Well, I can do it, but I'd rather not.

However, @Figgy1 lives in NJ, so there might be some question about pumping her own gas.

Yea, I taught my daughters to do all of that stuff. Even do brake jobs on their cars. Neither one does any of that now, but they know how. That was the purpose, to never be taken by questionable mechanics. I taught them some of the words to use when talking to mechanics so that the mechanic would feel that my girls had a knowledge and not easily fooled as well. Mowing the lawn was not one of their favorite chores, but they did it anyway.

We were always freezing and canning. My sister and I helped with it. We also made the best sauerkraut in a crock. I loved that stuff. Yummy! I hate the stuff they have in stores now. 🤢
I'm not fond of the stuff from the store except for one raw brand(make in giant crocs) which is why I usually have a crock or 2 of something going in season

Friend NOT food
Mom used to clean the chicken coop when she was a teenager based on what I was told. Her Stepfather owned a farm besides working in a factory. Mom had multiple chores to do on that farm that was located in a small city of less than 6,000 people at the time. Mom had to water the crops and do other stuff on that farm before she went to school and work.

I said work because during her teenage years she car hopped at a local fast food restaurant in a small city she lived in.

3.5 mile line for the Queen stopping every so often to change the guards. Oy vey. I'm watching the queue for a bit. Massive and people seemed to be doing good and not skipping lines. Totally would not be done here like that.

It's been impressive watching the long queues, and the respect the people are showing. (I'm referring to yesterday, as I haven't watched any coverage today.) As this somber event is UK -based, and hasn't happened for 70 years, I can't compare it to anything here (or elsewhere in the world), not to mention that we don't have a monarchy here to begin with. So I can't state -- one way or another -- if the same respect for tradition would be followed elsewhere.
