The near 10 year streak of no 100 degree days is now over. At 5:10 tonight, it reached 100 degrees. I was hoping no 100 degree days for 7 or 8 more year. I don't expect another 100 degree day for rest of the year and hopefully wouldn't happen for 10 to 20 more years.

Today is only the 33rd time ever where I live to reach 100 degrees according to the news.

I looked up Rhode Island and the highest temp here was 104F in 1975 or called winter in some places out west.

One of my favorite side dishes.

I'm not having them today though.

I had them twice last week at Door County. Munchie Basket was ordered as an appetizer on Last week Thursday and last week Saturday. Onion Rings was one of the foods included in the munchie basket at Bayside Tavern.
