The 2nd thing is Door County has a wine Festival next month on the 25th though although I wouldn't be there.
The week before aka June 18th has the Door County Beer Festival. What I know is there is going be 44 beer companies from the Midwest with able to sample over 120 craft beers. I'm staying away from that festival. I do not like beer. What I do know is that festival for food has cheese curds, Jerk chicken, and a restaurant that also is a catering company.

As far as the Jerk chicken, Door County has a Jamaican company that makes Jamaican food and sauces.

DD13 had a 76 Mustang willed to her from her uncle when she was 5. Her dad and grandparents are in the process of finding out what work needs done to restore. Her grandma has a 67? think it is "Hertz Special" that will be passed to her.

My condolences ;) regarding the ‘76 Mustang…American auto makers made some really bad crap from about the early ‘70’s to mid 80’s, and that one’s on the list. I wouldn’t even bother restoring the ‘76. Sell the engine block to somebody to use as a boat anchor, and junk the rest…!!!!! :hilarious:
Now, on the other hand, if the second car you’re talkin’ about is an actual ‘67 Carroll Shelby GT350H (Hertz)…WOW…!!!!!
Only about 1,000 of those editions were manufactured. Depending on the condition, y’all should be able to get a substantial amount of money for it, even without any restoration.
If it’s rough, a full restoration would take some serious time and money, but, the ROI should be worth it in the long run, for sure.
And again, even in rough condition, it’s a very rare car, so it could still fetch some serious cash from the plethora of rich car collectors out there these days.
I’ve watched some televised auto auctions in recent years, and the prices they go for are insane.

The first pic below is of the ‘76, and the second pic is of the ‘67 GT350H…to me anyway, the ‘76 is WTH…?!?!?! and the ‘67 is a sheer work of art…there is NO comparison…!!! ;):)

Not wanting to brag but so far, I have survived not one, but two Tornado watches in the same number of weeks. One of them accompanied by a power outage so I couldn't follow it on TV. But I'm sure it must have come close (just a feeling). 🌪️🌪️;)

I can’t even count the number of tornado watches/ warnings we’ve survived since we moved back to Texas from No Cal in ‘76. But, at least you, generally, get some kinda’ warning, unlike with an earthquake…!!!!! :hilarious:

My husband gets motion sickness but he never had a problem with sea sickness on the Dream. I think he took Dramamine the first night just in case but not any other time on the 3 cruises we took. I didn't have a problem either but I don't get motion sick. But it is good to be prepared. I think the ship's dr will give you dramamine for free so if you don't normally use it you could save the $$.

Yep, never had any issues with motion sickness on either of our 3 cruises, but, same as yourself, I also don’t tend towards it.
We ran into some pretty rough/high seas on our first full sea day/night on our first cruise back in Dec. of ‘17, and Sarah (youngest DD) got a little woozy at dinner for a bit, but, that was about it for us for all 3 cruises.
Below is a video of the ocean from that first cruise sea day…!!! :)

I've only stayed in Anaheim in LA. Will you be making a side trip to Disneyland?

The only time I went to New Orleans, the hotel was booked for me (as part of the convention) so I didn't have a choice. But I liked it and would look into it again as it was on the edge of the French Quarter but not in the party atmosphere. https://www.lepavillon.com/

Regarding NOLA, we stayed at The Whitney for Sarah’s (youngest DD) 21st birthday trip in Sept. of ‘15. It’s a former bank building built in 1910, converted into a hotel, and located a few blocks across the west side of Canal Street.
It was pretty cool…!!! :)
For some reason, their site is having issues, but, I have some pics of the hotel from that trip…

My first car was a 1977 chevy malibu classic. It. Looked exactly like this one except mine had black interior and the little old lady who owned it before me had problems getting it in and out of her garage, so it had scrapes along the side.

If it had those original Chevy rally wheels on it, like in the video, those things alone are worth some serious money to collectors, these days.
