The groundhogs never told humans to use them for determining if there's 6 more weeks of winters or a early spring.

Not all raccoons are bad. When I was a kid, these were considered the good guys on one of the cartoons I watched:

Jimmy the groundhog lives in Wisconsin. That groundhog predicated early spring this year for Wisconsin.
