Happy Farm Market Saturday! I took the arc out and was pleasantly surprised that I'm still able to get summer veggies on Halloween weekend:joyfull: As expected the boys have some not so nice words having to bring everything in including the cases of tomatoes:angelic:

Day of the Dead sounds a lot better than Halloween.

If you've seen the first 10 min of Daniel Craig in the James Bond movie " Spectre" it was filmed on location in Mexico City during the Day of the Dead festival. It is amazing to watch on the big screen. CA, NM and AZ have Day of the Dead ceremonies with its Latino population, food and drink included.

@Cesar R M , does your area in Mexico have any festivities (Nov.1-2) for the Day of the Dead? I've read in the past that in Mexico City, there are parades and parties, as well as some people make offerings to the memory of their loved ones. I was wondering if similar activities happened all over Mexico, or just in the big city only.
Yes, the government loved the idea about the giant parades that appeared in the James Bond movie and the TMNT movie.
So they decided to do a big parade for Day of the death in Mexico City.
Before that, everything was a much smaller celebration and most of the time was used for people to visit the tombs of relatives and celebrate together with having a reunion, dinner or lunch with traditional stuff...
