I haven't been wearing much makeup since last March but I'm more into my nails, youtube videos, I follow a couple of nail techs on IG and I'm on a few email lists. As usual I never pay rack rate:joyfull: btw speaking of IG there's been a lack of chubby cat:cautious:
I think it's this going back to work thing. Plus bestie's wedding coming up. And of course that trip to Sephora when I was like, dang, where has this stuff been all my life?

Same here we buy one new ornament every year and that's it and a tree --though there have been years I went out and cut a red cedar tree in the woods.
Just a new ornament for everybody and we're reusing the tree. I have too many projects this year to worry about getting and taking care of a real one. 2 ornaments are in the house and the other 2 are on preorder

Laughing at your dad.
Oh, the only reason Mom will probably get a colored one is so they don't swap them. And then Dad will be like, "Everyone else gets cool MBs and Dad has to take the free one..." I could be wrong....(but probably not).

They did get ones right before they stopped being free so they shouldn't need new ones for a while.

Absolutely loved the Sears one. When Mom was finished with it after Christmas, we made our own paper dolls by cutting out clothes.
My memory goes back to when I was 4 years old. Most of that time is pretty sketchy but I do remember sitting at the kitchen table with my Mom and looking through either the Sears or the Montgomery Ward Christmas catalog and making a two page wish list. I couldn't read at that point so I'm guessing about the store, but whatever it was I just pointed to the pictures.

I know no one is going to believe me, but this is absolutely true. I was an only child at that time and the most popular grandchild so my young logic was if I put in for a huge amount between Santa, my Parents, my Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents I would get maybe half of what I was wishing to get. Yes, I had a devious mind even back then. To my surprise I got everything on the list. What a rush. Then a couple years later my sister was born and the bubble burst.
