Just celebrating the big Italy win
Will you be celebrating with some Italian pasta? That's how I would celebrate!
Just celebrating the big Italy win
I hope the wind and lightning died out before it got to you. It was so bad here James was spooked and couldn't sleep It was bad enough he didn't even want to think about food. It's pouring rain outside again . . .
you had a Cat 5 hurricane ?It was bad enough he didn't even want to think about food.
For celebrations such as this a pot of Sunday gravy, a tray of lasagna, some pickled eggplant and a large salad would be in orderWill you be celebrating with some Italian pasta? That's how I would celebrate!
It felt like it for a bit. Lightning looked like it was hitting the ground and the wind shook the house a bit. Maybe being after midnight didn't help. Seeing dh went in late last night I was still up when it hit, so I about 3 hours of sleep after it was done. Yes I'm letting the boys sleep inyou had a Cat 5 hurricane ?

Pickled eggplant is a little more like eggplant in really good garlic Italian dressing you could always add cheese to itI will take all but the pickled eggplant. Not a fan of pickled things, but if it was the eggplant wrapped feta from Palo on the Disney Dream, I would go for that.
Mitchel must not have been one they focused on much because I have no idea who he is. It makes me sad about Jerry, because I really liked him. He was such a hard worker and was really encouraging to his teammates. It's so sad when someone has so much going for them and then throws it away.Jerry Harris and Mitchel Ryan.
Thanks! I'll have to get pictures tomorrow of her in the dress, with the hair done and everything. There are a few tweaks I need to make with the hair, but I think it will be fine. She didn't want to make an appointment at the hairdresser, so I'm doing it myself. She just has SOOOOOOO much hair. She said for her 6th year gala (graduation), she wants to have her long hair back, and then she'll consider getting her hair and nails done professionally, but since this is just the English certificate, she wants to look nice, but not over the top formal.I love E’s hair!
Kind of...the kids are organizing it themselves because the school decided not to do it this year. It's usually done by the school, but things JUST opened up here, so there was no time for them to really organize anything, but so far the kids in this year's dual immersion program have missed every special event they have for the dual immersion kids. They had to skip the London trip last year, they had to skip the exchange program with Germany this year, etc, so they didn't want to miss out on this too, now that they are actually allowed to do it. So one of the girls is opening up her yard....they live out of town, so there won't be any problems with distancing, with noise, they aren't allowed to drink or anything. So everyone is bringing a drink and some chips or something and they made a Spotify play list and a couple of the kids have good quality speakers. It will be like a school dance, but a bit more formal. The one for their actual graduation is more like prom, except I don't think they decorate. This one is only for the dual immersion 3rd years, so there are only 35 kids total. The hair looks nice. Is the gala like a prom here?
Spot It is the English name. There are apparently different versions. A played the original version with his Psychologist every week at the end of their session and he loved it, so we got that one for him for Christmas one year. This one is the Harry Potter version.I love her hair, very grown up.
I have a question about the game, actually : Is it in English if not what's the translation?
Thank you. I'll look into it for the boys for Christmas edit to maybe status on Christmas shopping listSpot It is the English name. There are apparently different versions. They do have a public bathroom now, right by the cafe, if I remember correctly. We did a tour, and I thought one of the things we saw was a throne with a hole and a chamber pot so the king could do his business and the chamber pot could be removed. I remember that there was an entire entourage that was invited in the morning to watch as the king was washed, shaved, etc and it was a huge honor to be allowed in to witness it. It was only people close to the king or people who had performed some service or something, I think. But I was thinking that his toilet regimen was also included in that...that people just stood there and watched while he had a bowel movement, and it was considered a great honor to be there. I think I'd pass.I vaguely remembered using a bathroom when I went to Versailles so I looked on their website this morning and they do have public bathrooms now but as for when the royal family lived there I don't remember seeing any as we went through. But there are a lot of rooms closed to the public so maybe one of those was one. I think the chamber pot was probably more of a thing for the royals and people during that time.
That's where I'm from originally.....Wyoming, near Devil's Tower. We used to go to Mr. Rushmore several times a year. If you need any advice for things in the area to see, etc, give me a shout. We were looking to go to Yellowstone this year, but we aren't allowed into the US yet, so hopefully next year, also in August. We're also looking at popping over to see the badlands. We're doing an entire Wyoming tour, whenever we get there. We'll fly into Denver, then head North to probably Lusk to see the Oregon trail and wagon ruts, then up to my home town with the coal mines and bison ranches, pop over to South Dakota for the badlands and Jewell cave since we did Wind Cave last time, and maybe spend a bit of time in Deadwood since we only did dinner there last time. Then West over to the Bighorns, visit my cousin in Sheridan, down to Casper to Fort Caspar, then over to the Hot Springs in Thermopolis and see some petroglyphs, back North to Cody and over to Yellowstone for a couple of days, then south to Jackson, Lander, visit my cousins in Pinedale, then East back to Laramie to stay with my brother and go to the planetarium and geology museums on campus at the University, and then to Cheyenne. I wanted to go this year so we'd be able to catch the Wyoming state fair, because our break is earlier next year and the kids would have to be back too soon probably. But maybe we can catch Cheyenne Frontier days. Anyway, let me know if you need info about anything in the Wyoming, or Black Hills South Dakota area. Some good news to share: the Willmark clan is going to be going on a two week vacation in… August 2022. We’ll be going throughout the west. Flying into Denver renting a car and heading to places like: Mt Rushmore, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Las Vegas, white water rafting in the Grand Canyon, Tombstone!
Cant wait and sorry Disney fans, first vacation that is not Disney since 2011. I’m more than ready for something different; Mrs Willmark is the Disney fan…
It's football . Doesn't matter what excuses you make for your made up version of English. We invented the game so we get to name it.
Whether we like it or not, the rest of the world describes the beautiful game as football or in Spanish - futbol. And in regards of competing in the sport, USA mens team is a joke, USA womens team is tops. It's soccer.
