AND NOW FOR THE UPDATE THAT I KNOW YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR: Went to the DMV this morning early, explained that an important part of my CDL was missing... My passenger endorsement. Getting a CDL to drive a bus without a passenger endorsement is pretty similar to not having a license at all.

Anyway, they took me right in with no appointment. I did get there at opening so there weren't many people there. After waiting about 15 minutes, inside seated, the called me and they then discovered a flaw in their system someplace and it took 6 staff members plus a management person to figure out how to override their program flaw but after 45 minutes more they were able to manipulate it and I got my corrected license. This is going to be my last CDL and probably not even needed at this point but, it is important to me to have it in the event that I have an opportunity to use it. It cost me a lot more but they also waived the Endorsement fee of $37.50 because it was their fault and cost me a total of 4 hours at the DMV since Friday morning. But, all is fixed until I am 78 years old, which goes to show you how optimistic I am or how much in denial I am. If I were a gambling man, I would have to put my money on the later reason.
