Ugh....we're supposed to get thunderstorms and possibly hail in the next couple of days. They said hospitals are still full with covid patients because this is the coldest April we've had in 35 years, so people are meeting up with each other indoors instead of outdoors, and the virus spreads more easily. This whole week is supposed to stay pretty chilly, with highs around 10 Celsius (50 Fahrenheit) and normal for this time of year is a lot higher.

I have HULU so I get to go to bed early tonight:D

As usual, I fall asleep early, but did see at least the first hour of the show. It was excellent!! And I was very impressed with John Stamos, in how he helped to coach each one of the contestants prior to the show. He really was insightful, and shared some valuable tips with all of them. (Obviously, he's more than just a handsome face! ;) )

The contestants chose some good Disney tunes, from the past up to the present. Of course, the show was a big advertising gig for WDW -- lots of background scenes and "on-ride" comments from the contestants. (Note: none of the contestants had to wait in line -- miraculously, all were able to get right on whatever ride they wanted!) :hilarious:

On A&E right now is “WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures” featuring our client “The Undertaker”...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious:

I happened to see maybe the last 10-15 minutes of that show (channel surfing). Wow, he was quite the celebrity in his heyday. That was really cool when the group discovered his (padded for safety) face mask in a container, toward the end of the show. (Some of those studio wrestlers took some heavy hits in the ring -- even with today's guys, although some of them are more gymnasts than wrestlers, now. ;)

I used to watch WWE until 2002 and not really much into wrestling these days.

The Undertaker is well-known, but is hard to be called a celebrity. The reason is the person who played the Undertaker known for keeping quiet about his life outside of wrestling. The person who played him is Mark Calaway. He was different than some of the other well known Professional Wrestlers such as Dwyane Johnson and Hulk Hogan. I recalled back in the 1990's that Bret "the Hitman" Hart had a picture of his family in a Professional Wrestling magazine, but the Undertaker did not do that. The best way to put it with Mark was he was in his undertaker Character when My younger brother and I went to an autograph signing in 1996. He protected his family including his kids.

Undertaker was one of the best of his generation as a professional wrestler, but it is interesting in amount of eras he wrestled in He was wrestling from 1987 to 2020. He first made it in the wwe in 1990 and is where he made himself known and became a legend in Professional Wrestler. He wrestled about 5 or 6 years past his prime. His issue was he was in mid 50's when he retired in 2020 with the amount of injuries he suffered in his career.

I remembered why he had that face mask. That face mask was from the mid 90's. The other other wrestler he faced was not exactly a safe worker. The wrestler Undertaker faced was huge, but hurt multiple wrestlers in the ring and did get fired for it although got rehired later on.

As far as some of the wrestler being gymnasts more than wrestlers now goes, there is a explanation. Some of the gymnastic style stuff actually I recalled from the 1990s in states, but I'm guessing the wrestlers have gotten smaller now. What I gathered in the high flying stuff originated in Japan and Mexico. Full time WWE wrestlers have to do drug tests and I'm guessing wrestlers are not as big in size as a result.

He is one of many great wrestlers that came from Texas through the years including this late wrestling legend:

I never really kept up with a lot of wrestling, so I had no clue who that guy was, until I Googled “Pro wrestler that wore yellow polka dots”...Dusty Rhodes...!!!!! :hilarious:
I do remember the Von Erich’s from way back in the day, who were/are from Texas. As well as Ivan Putski, who was born in Poland, but, was based in Dallas during the height of his career, and eventually retired here to Austin. He’s still alive at age 80...!!! :)

Yea, it’s pretty crazy, actually. As I posted previously, I’ve never really been into it, but, even though it’s, ultimately, “entertainment”, they still, many times, get beat up pretty badly.
Mark Calaway (“The Undertaker”) is 6’-10” tall, and still suffered many injuries, and just recently retired at age 56...!!!!! :hilarious:
I remember back when, when I first started the design, the partner told me the client needed a large onsite gym, ‘cause he does stuff to “train” like throwin’ around tractor tires...I remember posting before, back then, that’s when I Googled...!!!!! 🤣
