Oh sorry I was doing this while walking🤣

Thanks @Tuvalu ! Senior brain moment there!
Speaking of Senior Moments. Yesterday I went to a shop 30 miles from here to purchase a wall picture that I wanted for an odd alcove in my bedroom. I drove there and got the clerk to get a step ladder and take it down from near the ceiling. Took it to the register and discovered that I didn't have my wallet with me. That is the scourge of warm days, cold days. I had put on my shorts to go to the store but my wallet was still in my long pants hanging up at home. So I drove back home got my wallet and went back and picked up the picture. That is a total of over 120 miles and $10.00 worth of tolls.

So today I had an appointment with my chiropractor but this morning it was cold. Anyone wanna guess where my wallet was when I got there. Fortunately this time I was only three miles from home. I think I am seriously getting worried about, not my ability to remember, but my ability to plan things and have everything I need with me. I just don't think about stuff like that anymore, I must get myself back into that habit. I guess I am forgetting to plan. Is that a thing? Have I ever mentioned how much of a joy this aging thing is. Better than the alternative, I guess, but still frustrating.

Don’t worry about forgetting. My hubby does that all the time!🤣 And yes aging is such a joy to us too.😉

Then I'd forget the purse (man bag). I always have what I need in my pockets, unless I fail to put them in my pockets. I always have my car and apt. keys on me when I leave to go someplace because I lock my door with a dead bolt type that requires that I have my keys in order to lock the door. I did, however, once go out to throw my trash in the dumpster and was not really leaving. We have a card operated entrance to the building and my card was on my key chain in my kitchen. Just as I heard the door click shut behind me, it dawned on me that I didn't have my access card. It was early in the morning and I had to sit there and wait until someone either went out or went in so I could get back to my apartment. I haven't done that since, but I have helped others that did the same dumb thing.
I think that right now I should be commended for not creating a double entendre for that "man bag" thing. I have blood in my mouth from biting my tongue. I was famous for double entendre when I was I was in high school.

So, celebrating N.Y. Eve last night was a great idea. By bumping it up a night, there were no lines at the Chinese restaurant take-out, and the food was fresh and hot. Yum city!!! There's a lot left over for tonight, too, so we have a feast for tonight, in spite of ourselves! Ha! I might go to the supermarket today and get another bottle of sparkling cider. :)

Here's something pathetically funny -- my bro in N.C. sent me an email last night, to thank me for a Christmas card he received yesterday. The reason he mentioned it, is that I always send out Christmas cards right after Thanksgiving, and he's right. I sent out 20 cards 2 days after Thanksgiving -- and his just arrived yesterday?!:jawdrop: (He mentioned there was no postmarked date on it either - huh? Are they sending mail without posting it anymore??! WTH??!!)
