I liked Cliff and the kids. Claire, not so much.
The best episodes were the ones in which PR did not figure prominently.
I loved the entire show and for me, Claire was one of the highlights. My favorite is when Cockroach says that he had a feeling his girlfriend had a visit from "Aunt Flo" and Claire hears him and says, "A woman is allowed to have any mood she wants without any visiting aunts...And remember, if it weren't for the occasional visiting aunt, there would be no uncles."

That show was also helpful for getting through my teen and preteen years. Sometimes it was helpful to know that what I was going through was just 100% normal.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

I don't actually recall that Aunt Flo episode, but I can perfectly hear Claire's voice speaking those words.

Like nails on a chalkboard!

Couple Big case of water, Big 'ole bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee, nice bottle of wine, strawberries and blueberries. Really went for water and coffee, the impulse was 'cause we like fruit....and wine is considered a fruit right???

I liked the show too. When I first met my in-laws I remember telling my fiance (now my ex) "Your parents are the Huxtables!" :joyfull:

And, it's 11 pages with the Table of Contents and reference page, plus a cover page.

Still shorter than the last paper I wrote for this class, the one about Amazon. That one was 15 pages with the table of contents and references page. Well, for the last paper he said it had to be at least 7 pages. This one had to be four pages less, 3 pages. So mine was four pages shorter...:cautious:

See, I think she's awesome, and her voice does not bother me.

But then again, you've stated that you find most of the wives on sitcoms annoying. I don't.
That's 'cause you're not married.
Most sitcom wives are downright mean!
Probably because most sitcom husbands are written as idiotic buffoons.

No wife is as mean as Carrie. No hubby is as dumb as Ray. Not if they want to remain married, anyway.

She was awesome in the movie, For Colored Girls. One of her scenes made me cry and that doesn't happen often.
I am the worst cryer! Weddings, funerals, baptisms, confirmations, regular Sunday service, movies, and every time I vote.

I cried at Cinderella, for Pete's sake. Two separate scenes. Both times I saw it.
Does that make Cinderella a four hankie movie? :hilarious:

I might also have been known to shed a silent tear or two during Titanic.
Or great hiccuping sobs. Whichever.

I had to drop off my car waaaaay across town tonight to the body shop.
Like he read my mind, Hubby suggested we go to Sammy's.

This is all stuff you've seen before, but by golly, it was good.

Guess which one is mine. :hilarious:
(Neither actually, both are Mike's. My water is over to the left, out of view.)

My Buffalo chicken wrap w/Caesar salad. No croutons.

Mike's full rack of ribs, 1 lb of chicken wings, and fries:

And my 99 cent fries with gravy:

(I only ate a couple of fries, because "someone" hogged all the gravy. Yeah, like I need to be eating fries!)

Sadly, no "with milk, of course".

I don't know what half of that stuff is. Pics would help. ;)
I forgot to take photos because I was either busy on the grill, or devouring the results :hungry:
