Thanks you.OMG what a sweet dog
Giggle I had flash backs to your Disney trips of yesteryear. It's cute! But we don't do the whole "gifts if you are good" thing here. And we certainly don't need any excuses as to why you don't get everything you wantthat's just life.
Thanks for sharing though![]()
I know! You’d think they’d learn. One prior and this Governor seem to be staying away from corruption. A new beginning for Illinois? We shall see.Four out of the last seven IL governors have been sent to prison, simply amazing.
I'm sorry to hear your daughter is struggling. I think it's a bit of a difficult transition going from home to college, for both students and parents. For students, it's a change to have to do everything on their own and not be reminded to do homework, or have someone wake them up every day, etc. (Some parents wake their kids up every day instead of using an alarm clock) For parents, it's hard to miss their kids, and for some parents it's difficult not to have the control. The kid is making their own decisions and it's not always what the parents would do. Plus the worry that something could happen to them and they aren't there to help. Glad you are healing, and hope you continue to grow together as a family. There were some struggles related to our daughter that I don't want to elaborate on. Yet through prayer, God has brought much emotional healing. Speaking of God, I accidentally showed up to 9:30am church at 8:30am this morning. Totally forgot that this weekend was the "Fall back an hour" weekend. How are you and yours @MySmallWorldof4 ?
There was something I didn't say. Thanksgiving will be the 2nd big meal in November. The first big meal will be less than 2 weeks before Thanksgiving with it being my Mom's birthday. It is being done at my parent's home with my dad grilling Porterhouse steak with mushrooms, and baked potato.
Her birthday meal always been going out to eat, but Covid-19 changed it this year. We do not feel comfortable to go eat to eat at this point. All 4 family members are at risk with my dad having the most medical stuff before covid-19 that increases the chase of being at risk.
just came a an hour or so ago from animal kingdom, its not even 30 minutes since they closed and its raining.. HARD!!
Flight of Passage and Pandora was definitively amazing.
The boat ride.. yeah nope...
Flight of Passage: worth waiting an hour for sure. the whole thing was amazing and it did last quite a bit.
The part of the sea was absolutely breathtaking.
There was not much waiting the first time. The line moved fast despite being spilled waaaay back to Harambe. I think the real wait was like 25 minutes because of social distancing.
The second time was longer.
The humidity and heat was brutal this time, I was soaked in sweat on the first minutes. Barely any wind.
In the good side, by 12pm it started to get overcast with some hefty clouds.
Characters did appear via boats making random trips to avoid people cluttering on the bridges (which did happen sometimes).
They all started right by expedition everest and did a loop around adventure island. Each ship with their own theme music.
Donald, Daisy and Launch McPad. Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. Pocahontas and Meeko. Rafiki and Timon and the adorable Chip and Dale in their dinosaur costumes with Goofy.
Yak and Yeti took 1 hour to accommodate me, but it was packed. Pretty sure that without the card I would have never made it.
Also social distancing made this very awkward sometimes for me. Because I was a single dude in my 30's. Why? because almost in every attraction I was.. I had the entire gigantic row for me.
For example.. after 10 years of being unable to get into Dinosaur (It always broke down when I was about to visit). I had the second row all for myself.. XD
Speaking of Dinosaur.. now I know why that thing breaks.. the shacking is very intense.. reminds me of Transformers minus the elevator effect.
Now the bad:
The Navi boat ride was so freaking boring and short. Yes the projections are good and the Shaman Animatronic was impressive. But that was it. There was nothing much.
Felt like a budget Pirates. Not to mention that you could see when the video loops a few times because of bad separation between the boats and badly designed corners.
The masks affected the flight of passage as well as anything 3d. As the masks will cause your breath to condensate and will fog the screens. Flight of passage was a bit blurry the second time I went and the bike didnt work at 100% (It never synced to 100%, stuck at 37% and the breathing effect did not work properly). The first time everything worked.. so good!!!
There were a few Karens who tried to cut lines, rudely tried to push their ways..etc..
I'm so glad the card worked for you so you could go to Yak and Yeti! That's the one you really wanted, wasn't it? And great that you loved FoP. It is impressive, but I can't do that one because it made me dizzy. I actually loved Navi River and wish I could have done that one more often, because it was so relaxing and beautiful, but the lines were way too long and I needed the fastpass for something else. I'm sorry you didn't like it. But it sounds like you're mostly having a good time! Have fun!just came a an hour or so ago from animal kingdom, its not even 30 minutes since they closed and its raining.. HARD!!

Thanks you.But he is at the age of sweet and cuddly to full on terrorist on steroids. He was the biggest one in the litter. My son also requested the most active of the litter and playful. He got what he wanted long run. He was likely the bully of the litter which you’d never guess by these photos. Who takes pictures when they are full on Ninja Warrior? Everyone has puppy razor teeth scars on their hands and holes in clothing. He is learning Boundaries and is crate trained to save the house. All will be well when he gets his adult teeth.
Been down this road before I remember that tree.
@ajrwdwgirl , I meant to ask -- which one of the pumpkins was the winner? I know you mentioned B won, but I didn't know if it was the left or right-hand one in the photo?
His won, it was the one on the right. I had the 3 eyed monster..
Speaking of Solo.Cesar, I like your updates, both the positives and negatives. You're making the best of all situations and enjoying your vacation. I had to chuckle about the Na'vi River Journey--I had the same reaction to it, when I rode it 2 years ago. It was visually interesting, but there was absolutely no storyline, etc. -- especially for people on the boat who had never seen the movie. It was funny that people came off the ride very perplexed, and their comments were priceless.Luckily, I didn't have to wait in line for it, as I had just come off FOP, and all the crowds were over there instead. (I thought FOP was a blast!) Sorry that the masks interfered with your FOP experience, though.
The social distancing for a solo (yourself) was interesting. Hey, at least you'd get your own row to yourself!![]()
wait a second, you were at AK yesterday?Final day at WDW they had great time, Shannon set a picture of the youngest in the SUV totally exhausted on the ride home sound asleep hugging all her Disney stuffed animals. A trip they will always remember View attachment 509962
My son and his family were at AK yesterday you may have seen them and my son likes beer so he may well have had a beer in hand. My daughter in law is a Disney big time fanwait a second, you were at AK yesterday?
In the other hand.. I swear I seen the clones of two of our resident biggest fans.. Brad and his wife. Pardon if I got the name wrong.
Same kind of body shape, glasses of the same type, and you could see the a similar big and kind smile with a beer in hand as they both walked around Pandora.
I just hold mine. Sometimes I take pictures during the ride.Did I also tell you that I chickened from going to the Yeti ride? XD
My excuse is my expensive camera![]()
Yeah, I had that happen on Safari. My group was on FoP, which I don't do because it makes me motion sick. So I went on Safari, which said 45 minutes but was actually five. Anyway, I had an entire row to myself. Nice for taking pictures, awkward at the same time. Also social distancing made this very awkward sometimes for me. Because I was a single dude in my 30's. Why? because almost in every attraction I was.. I had the entire gigantic row for me.
Speaking of beer and Animal Kingdom, I have been wanting to try the Kugaloosh Spiced Ale from the Nomad Lounge? Just never at that area during proper times (usually Pandora is last or in 2019, fastpasses were on the opposites sides of the park and we had to walk really fast). I love cardamom. Has anyone had it? Meaning the beer.My son and his family were at AK yesterday you may have seen them and my son likes beer so he may well have had a beer in hand. My daughter in law is a Disney big time fan
