OK, so remember me talkin’ about never seein’ an alligator, or knowin’ anyone who had, here in central Texas in the 43+ years we’ve lived here...?
Well, kayakers spotted this guy on Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin a few days ago...as “they” say, there’s a first time for everything...!!!!! :hilarious:

Don't have any Krispy Kreme stores here. :bawling:

My fondest memory of Krispy Kreme donuts was back in 2001. Was staying at the Marriott WTC, and would walk outside in the morning and go over to the K. Kreme store in the open plaza area. Warm, glazed donuts -- YUM! (That WTC area changed forever, about 2 weeks after that. :()
Don't feel bad, we hardly have any down here where they originated. Within the Raleigh area I know of only two and both of them require either driving into downtown Raleigh or about 30 miles south of me. Down here they are mostly sold in grocery stores. I can't eat donuts anyway. for some reason for every ounce of donuts I eat adds four pounds to my total height lacking challenge.

It was nice outside so I decided to my pedicure out on my deck and made sure to bring everything needed outside so I wouldn't have to go back in. Well I thought I had everything:hilarious: I had gotten everything done up to curing my base coat when I realized I had forgotten to bring out a color. James to the rescue he picked out teal. @StarWarsGirl did you have anything to do with his decision?

And, a Half-day Friday freeway karma story...
So, I’m cruisin’ down the freeway on my way home this afternoon in the 3rd lane over from the fast lane, when I notice debris comin’ up in front of me. I clear myself and make a quick lane change to the right. As I passed about 3’ to the right of the debris, I noticed it was one of those heavy duty 3-ball trailer hitches.
Unfortunately, the low-slung Cadillac that was tailgating me at 70 mph didn’t see it in time and ran straight over it.
The last thing I saw in my rear view mirror was the Caddy gettin’ squirrelly as it ran over it and then smoke billowing everywhere until the idiot finally pulled over...!!!!!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious:
Serves ya’ right, ya’ sorry b*****d...!!!!!!! :p:D
