There is a pig in my yard. I can't get a good picture because it's behind a tree and animal control doesn't want me to disturb it before they get here. James has already named it and wants to know if we can keep it

Was it a regular pig (that maybe got loose from an open gate on someone's farm nearby, for example)? Or was it one of those scary wild pigs (or hog?) that are a hazard in some parts of the South?

It was a pot belly. I'm not sure where it escaped from but the owner will be in trouble because my neighborhood isn't zoned for them
