Does it count that I was born in Joisey? (probably not.. I was made in MI, and only lived in Jersey the first year of my life)

My dearly departed uncle lived some of those songs including wintering in the keys.My favorites are "A Pirate Looks at 40," "Son of a Son of a Sailor," and "One Particular Harbor."
I also like a couple of odd ones that don't often make the favorites list, "Delaney Talks to Statues," and "Fruitcakes."
We speak French here in SC --french fries, french toast, french crullers,Glad you spoke English when we met up with you! I wouldn’t have understood a word!
That depends do you know how to use a teasing comb?Does it count that I was born in Joisey? (probably not.. I was made in MI, and only lived in Jersey the first year of my life)

You're just making up for what I'm not eating todaySadly, I am in the middle of "Eat what you want spring."
Yeah, I am a southern boy who is supposed to like boiled peanuts, but don't like them at all. Peanuts are supposed to be crunchy, not mushy. Love the fried ones though and that peanut brittle is good stuff. Betty's is a fun place to shop as well.
I never make grits but I do make polenta quite oftenI have grits often, including for breakfast today, but can't handle boiled peanuts.
Now for the big question. Have you ever worn an animal print?LOL... well I did live through the 80's

I lived in Norcross and worked in Dunwoody. My Grandparents and my Aunt and Uncle lived in Gainesville, GA
Felt a need yesterday to download some Jimmy Buffet songs on our Google Play account. We already had "Volcano". My kids and I loved hearing that at the Margaritaville in City Walk. Downloaded "Cheeseburger in Paradise", and "Margaritaville".
My favorites are "A Pirate Looks at 40," "Son of a Son of a Sailor," and "One Particular Harbor."

I haven't seen that in a while
I agree with all the above @epcotisbest! I love me some Jimmy Buffet!!All good Buffett songs. I'm a bit of a Parrothead myself. I would add Boat Drinks to the list.
That counts! I make both.I never make grits but I do make polenta quite often
One of my most vivid memories was my thinking when gas went from 35 cents a gallon up to 50 cents how I was going to have the money to pay for that. I was newly married and we lived 20 miles away from our jobs, in different directions, so between the two of us we did about 400 miles a week just going to work. Talk about living paycheck to paycheck. Another memory was traveling from gas station to gas station just trying to fill up the tank. If you went past a station that had gas, you stopped and topped it off even if all it took was a gallon.I remember the gas crisis in the 70's I was in college and gas was rationed. One station opened at mid night you could get 10 gallons no more I remember the line was huge. My truck as had a full tank of gas for over a month nowhere to go
