The state there owns liquor stores? That sounds odd to me, but hey I come from a state where a child can legally drink as long as they are with a parent or legal guardian.

I know that up in New Hampshire, they also have "state liquor stores". (Their prices are better than private locations that sell liquor.) Their grocery stores also sell liquor.

They are the state owned liquor stores that are closing. This Giant supermarket near me started offering wine for sale last year. I was mad because they took a way an aisle from the natural food section. ;)
Wegmans be dh's aunt increased their natural food section and added more wine. Have I mentioned how much I like Wegmans? I frequent several:joyfull:

Made it through knee surgery yesterday back home now so far not much pain. Talked to son # 2 hospital he works at has suspended all elective surgeries and are screening all staff and recommending all staff remove facial hair (mask issue) I assume this is directed at males but who knows these days HA HA. Lucky to have my surgery as I was talking to the nurses and they will be having meeting tomorrow talk is suspending elective surgeries also. Got mine just in time unfortunately As of now I will have to do my own PT at home hospital has PT suspended also. SC count 32 cases and one death (Sad)

First of all, glad to hear that you are doing well after your knee surgery. I'm aware that many hospitals are limiting or eliminating elective surgeries for a while -- glad that you got yours in, just under the wire!! :)

I'm being optimistic right now

I checked my flight out to California to see if it had dropped. It had. By half. I got half of my points back. I turned right around and used them to book my flight coming back from WDW in August.

I guess the good thing is since I booked California on points, a worst case scenario should I have to cancel would be I'd get everything back.

If I lived near NH, I would make that trip. Well, technically it is only 2 hours away. I was too young before to go into those stores when I was in NH for vacations.

I wish they sold alcohol in markets here though.

Our governor is putting forth an executive order this afternoon. All dine-in restaurants are closing and only takeout or drive-thrus open beginning at 5.
Same thing happened today in Wisconsin for resturants. Wisconsin though is going further by having bars, Chruchs, Gyms, malls, movie theaters and arenas closed besides schools.

The governor allowing restaurant drive thru did allow a local supper club to give out this meal at the drive thru tonight:

I'm glad your surgery went well. Hope the healing goes well.

Apparently he will respond when the University emails him. I finally got a text from him today. Apparently the whole covid thing is too much for him to handle (his words) and he just shut down.
I see. Take care....and btw, my NYC Fox 5 Weather app says that Brick NJ will experience a high of 76F this Friday. Huh!? Maybe its an app programming error.😏
