When I was in Pittsburgh in January there was a boba drink store there. It was packed. My oldest had been bugging me for months about boba. Youtube can be really annoying. She watched videos of people talking about these drinks and as soon as she knew I was going to Pittsburgh, she was on the internet and found the store that sold the drinks. The place was packed. The line was out the door. They were really good, just expensive. Glad we don’t have a store by us otherwise I would be there very often. 😉

Thanks for sharing that story. Today is 51F and the store had 10 customers when my wife and I were seated enjoying our boba drinks. Yet I bet in the summer it will be more like you described in your Pittsburgh story.

My poor attempt at humor adapted to Sonny and Cher's "The Beat Goes On" boo if you like

The virus goes on, the virus goes on
Hysteria keeps pounding a rhythm to the brain
La de da de de, la de da de da
Sanity was once the rage, uh huh
Fear has turned the page, uh huh
The coronavirus is the current thing, uh huh
And the virus goes on, virus goes on
Hysteria keeps pounding a rhythm to the brain
La de da de de, la de da de da
The grocery store's the supermarket chain, uh huh
People not shopping smart uh huh
And men still keep on marching off to the store
So they can keep buying more
And the virus goes on, the virus goes on
Hysteria keeps pounding a rhythm to the brain
La de da de de, la de da de da
Grandmas sit in chairs, coronavirus scares
Boys stopped chasing girls to get a kiss
The virus keeps a going faster all the time
And the virus goes on, the virus goes on
Hysteria keeps pounding a rhythm to the brain
La de da de de, la de da de da
And the virus goes on, yes, the virus goes on
And the virus goes on, and the virus goes on
(on, on, on, on)

That was really creative, however, just a few words of caution.. DON'T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB TO BE A LYRICIST. 😷 ;) I won't BOO you because it is really quite cute and oh, so timely. Someone should try and contact Sir Paul McCartney. He's been looking for another writing partner for years now. Imagine all those record labels that read... McCartney** and Hopper.
I'm assuming that Paul would want first billing. Especially someone with a first name of John. Deja Vau all over again.:)

Well, we are back home from WDW. The dog was happy to see me at first but is now punishing me by sitting on the couch away from me. 🤣 I stopped at Walmart to grab some groceries quick and even though I didn't need toilet paper or anything like that I took a look to see what was available and the only paper goods I saw was a couple paper towels. The shelves were so empty of canned goods, pasta, and lunch meat too. I was bummed about the lunch meat because that was on my shopping list.
Aww of course he missed you. Your his Mommy!
Do you think the park will be open by the first of April?

On the subject of Readers Digest, my grandparents and folks have always had a subscription. I always loved the Word Power and the anecdotes and true life funny stories...!!! :)

Didn't Readers Digest also include (at least occasionally) articles by Paul Harvey? ("And now you know the rest of the story!") My grandmother used to listen to him on the radio, and he always had fascinating stories.

I really don't know, but I hope so. It seems weird that they would send home workers and cancel entertainment if it was only for 2 weeks. My sister and her family are planning on going in April for the Star Wars run and she is freaking out a little but hasn't cancelled.
