So here's an update on Sloppy Joes. Yesterday, I read the Manwich can ingredients, and their second one was high fructose corn syrup! (When did that happen?) Put it back on the store shelf. ☹

So, then I moved on to the spices section of the grocery store, and there was not one packet of McCormick Sloppy Joe powder mix. :banghead:

Went back home, Sloppy Joe-less. :(

Looked on Google to see if there was an easy recipe, and I found one. Actually, I had what I needed in the kitchen, so I made it last night. Hubs really liked it. I sort of liked it, but didn't love it. Gave some to the dog; he inhaled it, but his haste may have been that he also wanted to get back to the TV, to watch Puppy Bowl. :p

I would have steered clear of the Manwich with the high fructose corn syrup too. If your store had a generic brand of sloppy joe mix that might have been just as good as the McCormick, or at least I have found it to be just as good. So maybe next time. I'm curious as to what your homemade one had in it.

I cook a lot of recipes from 21 day fix. They have a really good turkey sloppy joe recipe! It’s not really easy but it’s one of the better homemade ones I’ve had.
I am guilty of loving manwich though. :(

So earlier, I was going through a cave in Tom Sawyer Island with B. It has that nice echo-y sound quality, and I thought we were alone, so I started doing the four note siren call from Frozen 2. It sounded cool. B told me I was weird.

Then someone started singing it back to me from elsewhere in the cave. So we sang it back and forth for a bit. Only in WDW. So much for being alone. 😂

I used to make a homemade one that my first mother in law gave me the recipe for...it was good, but I forgot the recipe =( I know it was burger, white vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, yellow mustard, lemon juice, sweet relish, but I don't remember how much of what.
