I always wonder what is so special of that house.
It has been in maps, games, 3d design test renders for new engines for 3d rendering..

At the time, it was one of the most daring residential architectural designs. No matter how impractical, it helped set new standards of what can be done/attempted. Someone had to go there to test those new combinations of construction methods and materials, and FLW was the dude that had the clout to do it at the time...!!! :)

There is a puppy actually want people to rub their stomach because they want food. On culver's Twitter account, it shows a puppy wants to be rubbed because it is thinking of wanting to eat this:

I'm a bit surprised because thought the dog would be after the meat, not the entire burger:jawdrop:.

I've seen pictures of dogs though want Culver's food though including a dog having its chin on a table for wanting fried cheese curds.

I have taken my dog to Culver’s. Only in the summer though, we sit outside and I share a little bit of frozen custard with her. My dog would love that burger, she would probably want the lettuce first. She gets really excited for lettuce. i would just have to make sure there wasn’t any onion though, onions can be very harmful to dogs.

Of course, I’m very familiar with Fallingwater. Structural issues have been ongoing, and I hope it can be preserved...!!! :)

Yep, I knew you would be. I love his architecture.

Hope y'all had a good Saturday... we were suppose to get some huge storm, so we stayed in all day... but the ice storm only froze a little bit, and next heavy snow is supposedly coming tonight. We'll see.

Today I made another pecan pie (because I had leftover ingredients from Xmas) and I got a mini waffle iron for xmas, so I bought a tube of cinnamon rolls and made them on there... they were fantastic! I liked them better on the iron then in the oven.

For dinner I made boiled dinner (haven't had that since my mom died which is 1986) Ham, potatoes, carrots, and cabbage, 1 cup of water, and instant pot for 10 minutes... it was so good.... and brought back all the good memories!

I'm guessing they're going to say, "Wait and see," and "X-rays will cost a lot and might not show anything" etc. like when her paw is acting up.
@Tony the Tigger , how is Kylie today?

Turns out I was pretty on the nose with that. When I went to take her to the vet, she limped all the way to the car. 😳 (after walking fine an hour prior.)

Still can’t say for sure if there was a connection, but they gave her anti-inflammatory and anti-nausea meds, and she is much better all around. If she hadn’t responded to those, we’d have to go to x-rays of the paw that acts up a couple of times a year.

He had her walk around, and felt and bent the paw/leg. For years we thought the issue was related to a joint. But she didn’t react until he got between her two middle toes.

He said that could be anything from a fracture that didn’t heal right to cancer, but if the latter, it would likely be swollen; and given it’s been going on for years, that would have made itself an issue by now.

Sounds like it might not be anything serious. I am very happy to hear that the medicine is helping her. Fingers crossed that all this just passes; or if not, maybe she could be put on some sort of maintenance medicine down the road.

Sending love to Kylie. 🐶

Was THAT a record? Wow!
I don’t really know. I was just grateful for it. I couldn’t have imagined doing the walking we did with kids yesterday if it had been their normal temperature for this time of year. The hill to climb up to the event center was insanely steep. I actually found this info about it on Wikipedia, so it must be an infamous hill Lothrop Street near Fifth Avenue, this hill is often referred to as "cardiac hill" due to its steep grade and its accessibility to medical care.
The medical school was right across from the event center. If that ever ices over, no one is walking it up or down I bet. After the hill, you then need to climb up about 30 steps just to get i to the event center. I am in good shape and that walk actually had me perspiring!
