Apparently we don’t stop for them any more. My DD almost got her car wiped out in the back by someone running a red light Saturday. I think red lights are merely suggestions not rules for some drivers😡
Yup. Thinking about it, I know what it was. There's a Walmart right there. I think they wanted me to pull forward so they could make the right in. Umm, no.

Yesterday there was a couple, who we refer to as the snobs, walking the street with their dogs. They were walking on the wrong side of the road, at night, with no reflective gear as I was coming home. They barely even got out of the way when I flicked on my brights. Idiots.

I got honked at on the way to work this morning literally for stopping at a red light and I officially hate people.
Feel your pain. I get honked a lot for going 10km above the speed limit. Considered "too slow" for these big city morons who just moved to my town.
I've seen crazies that even dare to get ON TOP of the curvs and center plant areas to pass other cars.. insane.

That happens a lot here with bikes...people feel entitled to use the road and don't care that others have the right to as well. I can't tell you how many times an impatient driver has tried to go around cyclists in front of them by going THROUGH me, coming from the other direction. They don't want to wait on the cyclists because they are too slow, but I'm coming from the other direction and they don't want to wait until I am past so they have room to get around, so let's just go and make that other cyclist slam on her breaks and swerve out of the way so I don't hit her...I'm more important. Just yesterday, I was biking to work with A (his school is on the way) and someone pulled over to the side of the road to let their kid out at E's school, but there's a kind of median...it's like, the street narrows to one lane, and then on either side of that lane is a bike lane. So the guy pulled over into the bike lane and stopped to let the kid out, which meant I couldn't go around to the right, because of the kid getting out of the car, and I couldn't go back into the lane for cars because there was traffic. So while he was still parked, A and I tried to go around him to the left when there was an opening in traffic. We started left and suddenly the guy decides to get back into the main traffic lane, cutting us off from the bike lane, so we had to stop and go back around to the right again. He couldn't leave us enough room to go around him, because he would have had to wait 5 seconds for us to get past him. Oh the horror of waiting 5 seconds!

I swear almost every Halloween we would either have rain or snow... I can only remember a handful without. And I was always so angry that I had to wear a coat over my costume!
It is rarely warm enough here for kids not to wear coats over costumes on Halloween here. Yeah, what is the point of costumes if you cannot see them? We will actually have a high temperature of 70 on Thursday, so it should still be warm at 6. Hoping the rain tapers off before then. Our trick or treat is 6-8.

Betting you are having an awesome day at WDW with Emy @donaldtoo. Looking forward to the commentary as to little Emy's impressions.

I saw an email from Jet Blue about fares from $49. I thought for the heck of it to check it out and see if there was a cheap flight to Orlando for the 6 of us. Nope. Not from Baltimore or DC. Cheapest flights would have been from JFK. Too far of a drive. I thought it would be cool since we already have ap's with Uni.
