4 King sized, and 2 full sized. We get 8 free tickets for next year so 2 sil’s and 2 cousins can go for free twice next year.

Cool. B and I both got King size so now Mom can go at least twice. Since we were already getting the drink plan, it made sense to spend a little extra and get all of the comp tickets.

Super busy day yesterday. Youngest had a 4 hour practice. They learned the dance for the routine. They also had to rework a bunch of spots because one little girl wasn’t returning. Then after lunch we drove to Cumberland Valley Rail Trail to take a walk. I took a few shots.

We were busy yesterday working around the house getting leaves out of the yard, then errands, and watching baseball and football games!

My dog hates leaves. He goes mental around this time of year when he sees them, outside the window, flying around. He thinks they're a useless annoyance to his world.

We went to the Farmer's Market yesterday and then just relaxed around the house. Hubs actually had a wedding and so I spent the afternoon reading. Does anyone else subscribe to the Celebrations magazine (a print magazine about WDW)? I really like the magazine, and that's what I spent the day reading. I think they might have rushed this issue though as I found at least 6 typos in it, it is very rare that they have typos so that was a little surprising.

Today I plan to start reading the new Marc Davis book by Pete Docter and Chris Merrit. It's two volumes but it looks fantastic. I saw the authors speak about it at the 2017 D23 Expo and have been looking forward to it ever since. They did a panel on it this Expo too but we were busy with other stuff this time.

That looks really interesting. Have not heard of this publication before. (Note: add to Minnie's Christmas list, which keeps growing . . . )

(As for the typos, that's a failure on the copy editor's end. Bad show indeed. )

We used to have 2 birds when we brought 2 cats into the house. The cats were definitely curious (kittens at the time). The one would just use the top of the cage as a resting place to look out the window. The male bird would actually sing to it.

Today should be interesting at work. It is already above 70* and we're expecting temps of 90* or higher. The rooftop chiller refused to start up this morning Hopefully they'll fix it quickly. Right now the building is muggy but not overly warm. Kinda makes me want to take a nap.

There was also pancakes and eggs for breakfast, 2 more salads and a small pot of soup for dinner. So yup a light day. Today is fighting with Mount Laundry, making hummus and packing

Think that temp is what we are expecting tomorrow or Wednesday. It is actually raining now. Haven't had much rain in the last 8 weeks. I am the only one not complaining about that. Guess I needed a break from the Noah's Ark deluge we had the first 6 months of this year. We did see a sad sight yesterday. When we took a walk in our neighborhood park yesterday evening, the small brook that runs through it was all dried out. Last week, ducks were swimming in it. We crossed over this bridge and looked down. There were loads of dead small fish right there. Guessing that was the last area where the water had evaporated. I felt so bad for them. I was happy my younger two hadn't seen that. We don't have any sea birds here that would eat them. Someone will have to clean that up.

Kapono loves leaves, she likes to roll in them and they stick to her like Velcro. Fun to watch her not so fun to pick off the leaves.

Here’s the finished Sauerbraten meal. We also had a pretzel breadstick from the farmers market, cheese spatzel with carmelized onions, and bratwurst. It was all really tasty. Here you go @Gabe1

It’s also going to be weird weather here too. Rainy and stormy with 80 temps and tomorrow will be in the mid-50’s. It was in the 50’s and rainy yesterday. I just hope with the drop in temperatures there aren’t any tornadoes.
