YUM-O-RAMA...!!!!! :hungry:
DWifey does our hams with cloves, too! :)

But, oh my on that price!!!
A similar 15lb. bone-in ham here costs about 25 bucks.
Oh, I can get a 15 lb bone-in ham for about $40; just not from Denninger's.
This is one of those rare occasions where I do not cheap out.

Nobody in my family likes ham, but they all beg me to get a Denninger's ham for Christmas and Easter.
(Of course, nobody offers to PAY for it. :joyfull: )

Hahaaa...!
OK, much better. :)
You mentioned the brand the other day, so I figured it probably wasn't your average ham, but, wow...!  ;) :)

My happy, happy ham, just before going into the oven.

That's more than 15 lbs of almost bacon, there!

Jennifer, your ham picture brought back memories of my mother, because she always put cloves into the ham, too. (Although she passed away years ago, I still remember little gestures/traditions with food such as adding the cloves. Easter just isn't the same anymore for me.) However, I am happy that you are now creating memories for your family with your own delicious Easter ham dinner. Enjoy!

That fact is astounding to me, because I have always loved Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce!! But, how can that be? o_O I can't stand anchovies!!

DWifey is the same. She can't stand anchovies. You should have seen her face when I hipped her to the Worcestershire/anchovie connection, years ago, after she found out I wasn't pullin' her leg...Priceless! :hilarious:
She still loves her some Worcestershire, though. :)

Also, notice that cloves are an ingredient, as well. :)

It's like me and tomatoes/ketchup!
Process them and put them into a sauce ... and it's all good.
Both my uncle and I are the same way.

He grows tomatoes...but then, like me, only wants a little but on a sandwich, otherwise, they get made into sauce. And like me, it took him a long time to even come around to putting it on sandwiches.

My mom did cloves in the ham too and I really like the flavor. However, when I make a ham now it is just for me and hubby and he doesn't like it so I leave them out.

Everyone. About my current stay. Although the update is that everything working out, it's 100 more at the pop century over doubletree.
If you're talking about the DT across from DTD, the POP can't compare. There's more space in the DT suites than two rooms at the POP. However, if extra hours are important, then go with POP. All the DT suites have been refurbished. It's a very nice place to stay.

I love fish. Anchovies not so much. :hungover: I love pizza, not doing that to my pizza.

Not putting a stinky fish on this lovely.
I like New York style myself although I don't fold it.
