Yeah, definitely not worth it for us. We haven't done a character meal since I was little, plus we have a picky 13 year old in the group who still prefers the kids menu. I looked into it for January when I went with my bestie on a girls' trip, but it still was more expensive and more food than we wanted to eat.The meal plan debate will probably be never ending, but for us, right now, it's worth it. Most of our meals are character meals. 3 of us for breakfast at CM was over $100. That justified the meal plan to me, since it was like eating for free for the rest of the day.
It also is a LOT less stressful traveling with my husband who doesn't like to see the money flow out of our pockets. I can pay for the meals before we go and deal with the grumpiness at home, pre-trip!
Once DS gets bigger, I'm sure we'll move over to TIW and pay OOP. For now, I'm enjoying every minute that he wants to see the characters!!
I LOVE Star Tours! But I'm also a Star Wars Girl...Unfortunately, I am now in line for my least favourite ride, Star Tours.

The old version used to make me queasy, but the new one does not. Same deal with my mother. Astro Orbitor is the only ride I opt out of every time due to motion sickness. Mission: Space Orange gives me a headache, so I usually choose green, or when the rest of my group gets on orange, I mysteriously have to go to the bathroom and stay there for a whileI like the first 10 seconds just fine. Then I have to close my eyes and drop my head between my knees.
Body Wars used to make me ill too.
Did you build a snowman? We might have just seen the Frozen show again
Hubby might have opted out again.
We've managed to ride all combinations. That's okay though I understand. I can't ride rollercoasters for medical reasons.Unfortunately, I am now in line for my least favourite ride, Star Tours.
You sound like you're bored.Well I'm in a lobby of a community college in the middle of freak'n nowhere. A mix of farms and industrial massive factory plants. From the portion of residential I've seen she isn't living here. Unless there is another side of town. Yikes.
Everyone in my group has been the rebel spy at some point. My brother has been the rebel spy multiple times. Star Tours was the first ride of the trip last January, and my Bestie was the rebel spy. It was a great way to start off the trip. There was also this one time where we were stuck there in the middle of a downpour and just kept riding it over and over and over...We've managed to ride all combinations. That's okay though I understand. I can't ride rollercoasters for medical reasons.
I actually got dizzy by the mechanical smell than the ride itself. We've managed to ride all combinations. That's okay though I understand. I can't ride rollercoasters for medical reasons.
I never noticed the smell at all. Maybe because it's one of my favorite and I'm just happy to be on it.I actually got dizzy by the mechanical smell than the ride itself.
the smell is awful when you just leave the startours machine. Burned oil and plastic due of the hydraulics.
As an employer I can only tell you that it gets worse.Ugh! I HATE GROUP PROJECTS! You would think that by college, kids would understand directions like, "Please make your PowerPoint slides using the template I gave you. Do not put it in a Word document or a plain PowerPoint slide." Well, what did I just receive from one group member? A word document.

To me, I always imagined that's what it would smell like at a Star Tours terminal.I never noticed the smell at all. Maybe because it's one of my favorite and I'm just happy to be on it.
Or inside the Millinneum Falcon. To me, I always imagined that's what it would smell like at a Star Tours terminal.
I love it when I get documents that are typed into Excel spreadsheets...As an employer I can only tell you that it gets worse.
