eh I got a little nervous there when Meghan and Cheyenne went to the wrong hotel. And when they couldnt find the entrance to Newton's house. I just didn't want to see Sam and Dan being the first ones running to the finish line. About 4 months til Amazing Race 16.

I was nervous as well, glad Megan and Cheyne counted the chips out more quickly than the rest. Clearly frustration and counting don't mix.

I would like to have seen the poker girls (sorry, can't remember their names) count out the chips. I'm glad Megan and Cheyne won. Ericka's frustration just kind of lost it for them last night.

It was a reasonably satisfying finish. Megan & Cheyne had run a bunch of excellent legs to the point that I felt they deserved to win. Cheyne's kind of a wuss (he wouldn't open his eyes rapelling down the building and previously made Megan do the hay rolling challenge). Still, they did most of the tasks efficiently and are justified winners.

Brian & Ericka fumbled and flubbed their way to the finale. Neither of them were really much good at the challenges, and they made a ton of mistakes. They got by on dumb luck.

Sam & Dan were annoying, as were several of the other teams. I liked Gary & Matt and the Globetrotters. I was really disappointed in Big Easy for not coming up with Franz. Yeesh, it was five lousy letters, and he had the F. My sons liked the Globetrotters, too, so we ended up getting tickets to see them later this month.

Overall, it was another enjoyable season. While they didn't do a classic memory challenge in the last episode, they were very good about the bunch-ups. There were some seasons where it seemed like there were mid-leg bunch-ups.

The Amazing Race 16 is filming now!

This year seemed much more physical than mental this year.

Nothing in the final leg seemed that challenging. I'm sure there was editing, but the rapelling didn't seem to challenging - no real chance for failure.

The Cirque thing was difficult, but counting chips (when most appeared to be $1000) for a final task seemed to be very weak.

I'm happy with the ending. I wish they would have had one of the challenges where they have to remember all of the legs of the race. Those are fun to watch.

I don't watch Big Brother. Do you know any other contestants for next season? Any other people from other shows??

I just took the boys to see the Globetrotters yesterday. Big Easy is the ringleader ("Clown Prince of Basketball") for the team, and Flight Time is the master of ball handling. They get the most attention in the game (Big Easy is mic'ed throughout). Flight Time can do some pretty "amazing" stunts with a couple of basketballs. Very impressive. At one point, Big Easy yells at Flight Time for messing up in the game and mentions that Flight Time is the reason they lost the Race. Big Easy goes on to say that "it's Franz. F-R-A-N-Z, you big dummy." FYI to the other old-timers out there: Sitting on the bench as an honorary captain was none other than Curly Neal.

As a Valentine's Day gift to all of us who love the show, the Amazing Race 16 starts Sunday, February 14th.
